Hate is quite a strong word and it could have a lot of meaning.
The people who hate terrorist in Iraq have a right to their own feelings and to invalidate that by asking if people hate them or the Chicago bears is quite childish.
A serious hate question should ask if people hate Iraqis or just the terrorist. A lot of Americans couldn't distinguish the difference.

I think people hate George Bush more.
Hate is essentially an irrational emotion, and since liberals are essentially irrational emotional people, you will see a lot of hate for Bush and all things Republicans or conservative. Not disagreement, not dislike, but visceral hatred and wild-eyed loathing. There is nothing they will not say or do to undermine anything a conservative or Republican does.
