I don't know about the "Christian country Bumpkins" but a lot of people are Christian because they don't want to be judgmental name callers like you; As for why they are republicans, I don't know why anyone is a member of either of the two mainstream parties anymore; they have sold this country out for their own financial gain and gain of power.

I think there are plenty of Christian Country Bumpkins to go around in both parties. Stupidity is not limited by political beliefs.

This question seems a little ridiculous, but the one response i read was equally so. on that note, it seems to be that people who live in urban areas are more liberal in general, and the suburbs or what they now call exurbs are the opposite. Of course this is a broad generalization. Also, bumpkins, as you refer to them, tend to be less educated people. unfortunately the less educated tend to lean towards conservatism, even though it may not suit their interests.

The vast majority of Republicans are refined and sophiscated, whereas liberals and Democrats are ignorant beyond belief, and don't even undestand the Constitution. They're not even in tune with reality, for the most part.

Maybe because most Christians beleive in the values that made this country great such as faith in God and family values. It seems that a lot of dummycrats do not beleive in these values.
