Have you guys ever actually listened to NPR? It has as many republicans speaking as democrats.. it allows open debate between the two sides.. heck, there was a guy on there today trashin Hillary, but still people call them biased? they have actually had analysts come in and listen to the programing and assess if it was biased or not.. can you say that about many of the other major news outlets?

Have any of you ever watched what happens to the water level when a glass of Iced water melts? Why would you think there will be flooding, because Al 'the dope' Gore said so? I can see that the political agendas are really based in hard science!

I've heard quite a few conservatives state that liberals don't believe in personal responsibility. I've especially heard this from those who advocate abstinence-only education. However, I strongly disagree. Whether we like it or not, teens and unmarried adults are going to have sex, so isn't it best if they're armed with as much information as possible about ways of preventing STDs and unwanted pregnancy? Sure, all forms of prevention save abstinence aren't foolproof, but they're better than nothing. And some may deny this, but it's actually been proven that abstinence-only programs aren't effective and that a lot of kids who take virginity pledges often break their vows. Needless to say, it is of vital importance that as many people as possible are armed with this life-saving information.

On NPR today they were talking about how the troop surge of 21,500 is deceptive.. that is the number of troops on the front-line.. when you count the additional support personel the number is actually closer to 50,000.. do you think Bush was deceptive on purpose when giving the surge numbers to America.. or just missinformed about his own plan?

I have a quick hypothetical question please.

First you'll have to imagine this device exists. Imagine it could produce a powerful beam of high pitch sound. Imagine it has a range of 100 yards. It is perceived as intollerable if aimed at an average person, prompting them to immediately move away.

Now imagine someone aims this device from a private dwelling into a public area, like the road, sidewalk, bus stop, or public park. Imagine it is aimed at pedestrians, motorists, and general members of the public for nothing more that humour. Also, it is often used in acts of racism, and descrimination. Imagine this was not an isolated practice and became common.

I know its hypothetical, but can I please ask if there are any laws to protect someone in a public area from situation like this?

At this point in time it is clear for the Domcrats, RINO's (repulicain in name Only), and the media (NBC, CBS, NY TIMES etc) they are cheering for the US to fail in IRAQ. It has also become clear with their talking point matchin Al Queda's, Iran's leader, and terrorist in Iraq that for them - the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Bush is their shared enemy as is the USA.

We live in a dangerous time when our leaders are willing to support the spitting at troops and calling them failures.

I married a woman and have been married for almost 3 years (longer than the 2 years for conditional residents) and as soon as she got her she decided that she was unhappy and it became evident that she had been in touch with an old flame and is going to go live with him and taking my son with her. She has been in the states for less than 60 days and in that time has got busted cheating 3 times and the whole story of this other guy who she has been dating since before she knew me comes out. Our marriage wasbased on fraud. She fooled me and now is trying to run out to be with him. Fine, but not after I have vouched for her to have US residency. If she wants it, tell him to do it.

I am so sick of being taxed and fined just to fill some rich polititians pockets! This Country is nothing but a big scam! They want all this money for doing nothing. I believe that the money I make should be mine to choose how it is spent, seeing how I am the only one working for it. I certainly dont want to put the money I work so hard for towards a new corvette for the cops to pull me over in just to give me another ticket and keep up the cycle. The only difference between me robbing you in a dark alley and uncle sam and all his taxes, fines, and fees is that uncle sam gets you every single time you touch your wallet! What do you think about what you just read?
