The guy who wrote those newspaper articles can't get a job even in the liberal media now - and they HATE the CIA unless they can use it to say something bad about Bush.

The only "evidence" of a CIA drug connection was that the CIA helped the Contras, who also got money from people connected to the drug trade. But we're talking Latin America two decades before the minerals and oil boom - - almost everyone who had money to give to political groups on either side had some connection to the drug trade. The argument is akin to arguing that anyone who has ever supported the GOP was involved with illegal influence peddling on behalf of Native tribes, since Abramoff also supported the GOP financially and did those things. That makes no sense.

But it gives people an excuse to blame someone else for their own conduct, so the legend lives on....

law enforcement sells drugs all the time, its called sting operations, and they may make many buys and sells before actually arresting whoever they are investigating. It doesnt beggar the imagination that the cia could have done the same type of thing,with the idea of the ends justifying the means. Just because the guy you are talking about has been blacklisted doesnt mean much, the big corporations who own the media are well connected politically and can do just about what they want

It probably has happened, the CIA wants to implant operatives into any subversive organization to keep a watchful eye on them. So the chances that someone in the CIA has sold drugs are extremely high..especially when concerned with the Contra scandal. It will never be declassified, so there is no use trying to PROVE a point here. We can only throw out our own suppositions.

Dude, there is shitloads of evidence the CIA facilitated the movement of coke and pot through the Carribbean/Central America in the 70s and 80s, and heroin in Afghanistan in the 1980s. Don't be niave; they do it to shore up "allies" or destabilize uncooperative despots. It's not about the drugs --- it's about the MONEY.

HE WAS THE STREET LEVEL DEALER THAT GOT RID OF ALL THE DRUGS THE CIA FUNNELED INTO AMERICA. HE WAS FED THE DRUGS BY A COLUMBIA DRUG DEALER THAT HAD MAJOR CONNECTIONS WITH THE CIA. HE TOO IS MISSING. THE REAGAN ADMINISTRATION FLOODED THE STREETS WITH CRACK THEY ARE SINGLE HANDEDLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CRACK EPIDEMIC THAT SWEPT THROUGH AMERICA IN THE 80' THEN CONTINUED THROUGH THE 90'S. I hope that's not why we have to surrender our borders, so that dope can cruise in. The two border patrols who nabbed that illegal with pounds of pot got thrown in jail(?) while the illegal got amnesty AND is suing for millions. Many dopers got pardoned but NOT the two guys doing their job. No matter who is behind the scenes we should protest til those guys get released. BTW don't get caught with pot though, some States give life sentence first offense(I don't use it).

The CIA also invented welfare and affirmative action to keep the black man down too, now they are all dependent on the white man to survive.
