Now do you posibly think she can become president ? Hillery sure has been making a lot of noise lately and seems to have a lot of people fooled into backing her. Or is it that she has paid them to back her. Vouchers they can redeam when she is in the oval.

I am a republican and can not stand our current president. Does the guy even have a clue what is going on? It makes me sad to see a lot of the republican party supporting him. I think it will really hurt the party in years to come. Clinton got a BJ, but "W" screwed us all up.

There are tons of BS myths about who/what exactly is a 'Liberal' or a 'Conservative'. If you are interested in this please list some basic info about yourself (nothing that anyone would care to steal of course).

I will start with myself. My name is John. I am a 49 year old programmer/database administrator for a very large US corporation. I make about 120K/year. I have a nice middle class house. I am married (wife is a public school teacher). We have two adult kids - one male who is getting a master's degree in Engineering from Portland State University and a daughter who is in final year of getting Physics degree from Kutztown University (PA). We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. My wife and myself are agnostic. We are considered Liberals socially. We are very conservative economically. We tend (not always) but tend to vote for Democrats.My wife and myself both own guns. Although I do not hunt anymore I used. I also spent 1 year in the low minors signed by the Philadelphia Phillies.

Regardless of party affiliation, if you were to meet George W. Bush on the street and listen to him speak, or watch him snort lines of coke at a party and get behind the wheel of a car drunk, or witness him bankrupt a country (or a nation), most people would correctly assess that he's a complete moron.

So why do so many people take the position that, as our president, we're supposed to respect and support him no matter what? As a free, democratic society, no one should be able to use that argument.

A congressman convicted of a felony and sent to jail is still eligible for their congressional pension when they get out. I was watching CNN last night and they said the Dems were pushing through a bill that would take way your pension if you were convicted of a felony. My question is, why the hell was this not done sooner? That's ridiculous that you could be sent to jail and receive your pension when you get out.

No one should be able to tell an employer how to run his company/ pay his employess, etc. If you don't like it then leave. I know its harsh but this is capitalism, not communism. Unions have communist tendencies. That is undeniable.

I have a social securit card, expierd passport, tempory driver lic from state of michigan,health card and school id.

the problem is im 17 and live on my own and have no way of getting parental consent. does any one know a way i can get an ID card or driver lic?

I went to the local Ace Hardware store the other day to buy a flood lightbulb. There was one from them and the same voltage from GE for a $1 more. GE spends billions a year on advertising and it costs them more to be in business and thus have to charge more.

The same is true every New Year when prices go up because companies get price increases from their suppliers.

Why then is forcing an increase of the minimum wage not understood as an automatic price increase for goods and services? Since wages are a big part of the costs of doing business, why would this be any different?

When you increase the cost of doing business, the businesses must pass that cost on to the consumers.

if your employer provides you with health insurance, it is deductble from income tax. if you show a little individualism and provide yourself your own health insurance, it is not deductible. why is that? why does the government promote dependence on the government and why are americans so accepting and complacent towards it (among many other things)?
