Not pro-abortion, but I just had to comment. I have a cousin with Down's syndrome...and I've known many other people who were mentally handicapped. They are some of the most amazing people I've ever known. The world would be much colder without them.
I think that we should listen to those who are mentally handicapped. They know things. Every one of them I've ever met had insight that I would have missed if I had never met them.
Agreeing with aborting those who have mental handicaps reminds me of Hitler and his final solution.
Let them live! They're still human, and they're better off now than they would have been sixty years ago!

I heard about that too - except I heard it's closer to 90%.

Some deaf people are against curing certain types of congenital deafness because they feel deaf people have their own culture, which should be preserved.

China has a serious population imbalance, since females are disproportionally aborted. India too, although perhaps to a lesser extent.

Heaven help us when and if the "gay gene" is discovered, as well as a test to detect it early in pregnancy.

Yes, I am troubled by the idea of abortion, especially to eliminate certain kinds of people. Some would abort an unborn child who had a cleft lip, which is easily fixed.

People are playing around too much with nature.

Conservatives arent much for post-birth childcare programs anyway, so what do you care?

Females sometimes "select" their preferred young. Its a part of nature.Who knows why.

Funny how the anti-abortion crowd holds up the bible to defend their argument, which is the most violent book of all time.

Got proof to back up those statistics?
Second, no one is ever 'pro abortion'. You completely miss the issue that surrounds abortion and that is choice. It is a woman's choice to abort or not to abort. But no one is telling her to abort and promoting abortion. Got it?

I guess it's better than having them born, and being unloved and mistreated.

I think it's OK. Except the part where you called them 'babies'. Neither medically or physically are they yet 'babies' in the first trimester.
