You misunderstand.
We support the president because he is doing what we want him to do.

I don't believe that there are that many people who would agree with your premise. In fact, the latest Presidential polls say otherwise. Only 38% of Americans approve of the Presidents current performance. If we take into account that the country is split almost evenly down party lines, that would meant that there is a large number of Republicans that disapprove of the President's performance.
I think you are confusing two issues though. As Americans we should always respect and support the position. The man who holds the position is another story, especially if he continues to make decisions that trample the constitutiion.

Huh? What a load of horseshit.
Despite your blatantly false and inflammatory statements, Bush is not a moron. And it is pretty childish to spew such idiocies, as if they had any relevance to thoughtful, rational people.
We've also never said that "we're supposed to respect and support him no matter what." That's simply and utterly untrue.
What we do say, however, is that when our troops are overseas engaged in military conflict, calling them Nazis and KGB, calling the president a dictator, calling the camps for captured prisoners "gulags" or "concentration camps", carrying on about criminal activities by a handful of individual soldiers, basically carrying the water for our enemies and undermining our mission and our allies resolve, we call this "treason". With good reason.
Based on your question, I'm not sure you have the intellectual honesty to understand.

Why are most Bush supporters blindly swayed by authority?
Answer:
Americans are basically lazy. It is much easier to follow blindly, than to use some energy to come up with an original thought, because thought requires action - and that's too much work. That's why so many countries feel disgust towards Americans.

Do you still molest your children?
Same type of a question. I believe you are an idiot for even asking it when the liberals are far worse in almost every way. Your own statements demonstrate that you blindly believe everything that hatred based group spews.
I am not a Bush follower but believe that a lot more of the conservative policies can work than the liberal ones. And I also believe that the goal of the liberal policy is socialism, which has been a failure every time it has been implemented.
You are blindly and mindlessly following a hate filled group operating on a pack of lies towards a failed goal. So, who's the fool?

I wish, desperately, that this forum would inspire people to think. But my experience here has taught me that they won't... Your question SHOULD inspire people to think about what you are saying, and ask themselves what they would do in that circumstance. But I'm afraid all you will receive here will be Republicans calling you a liberal SOB or libtard...instead of answering the question.
I would hope that no one would be blinded by the office, and report him to the authorities as a citizen...like you would anyone else. Perhaps if he was in an 'altered state' and he got behind the wheel of a car and killed an innocent child, Republicans would take off their blinders. But I don't even see how that would happen. They take the stand of "My leader, right or wrong". Sad.

My support of President Bush has nothing to do with party affiliation. He is a decent, moral family man who lives his Christian convictions in spite of bashers like you who write trash insinuating that you know he does dangerous, illegal, immoral things. I respect him because he does his best in spite of the bashing he takes. He has enough sense to know that this monumental job of wartime president is not a popularity contest. He is the only president we've known in a while who had the fortitude to take on the terrorists and do something about it.
You, like the liberals loose in this country, seem to think that you can print the most vile "almost accusations" and that the American people will swallow it as truth. Not all of us are that gullible.

I was actually going to read your question until the snorting cocaine part..,why cant one of you liberals ask an actual debatable question without the childish mud slinging and name calling.Guess you are all for Barrack..,he snorted more cocaine than Bush has and he was proud of it.What about the drunken murderer Ted Kennedy that keeps getting elected by you libs, what about Robert Byrd who was grand wizard for the KKK.So before you want to point in someones back yard,I suggest you clean your own first.Theres good and bad in both parties..,lets try to act like ADULTS and have mature discussions.Name calling was popular in kindergarten.,not when you are an adult.

Well, the way I see it is, I'm either on my country's side, or against my country. I choose to be on my country's side. Therefore, supporting my country means supporting my president. He obviously knows more about this war than the average citizen does. So Yeah, I'm rooting for the president's new plan to work because I'm rooting for America to win. Go USA.
