My experience is that when a cop pulls you over (for traffic reasons), it's almost certain that you will get a ticket.

What reasons can you give or how can you get away without a ticket being issued?

Everyday, so many people end up in hospitals or worse, in graveyards thanks to smoking. Its our tax dollars that pay for this. Should we send those health bills to big tobacco companies? Should all people who smoke be asked to pay more taxes. Even better, should they be disqualified from Medicare benefits?

I was reading my favorite magazine 'Adbusters' the other day and it drew comparison's of 20th Century America and 21st Century China. If you've glanced at the news in the past 5 years you'll notice the growing debate of a dwindling middle class in America. China has a Middle Class that is growing in record levels. How nice it would be today to grow up in China's educational and social environment right now...
Looks like the "American Dream" will have to be re-named accordingly.

I'm not advancing any silly conspiracy theories here, but I would be interested in hearing, especially from Bush supporters, why they think President Bush worked against the formation of a commission to investigate 9/11?

One concern I've always been worried about is this. Usually the college educated or those with some education serve while those who just don't want to go to school or just drop out don't have this obligation. Good theme to discuss and explore in a good objective matter and non offensive way. There's so much talent being lost

I think it is totally unconstitutional and should be illegal, it takes away the life of a person who is not yet living. Therefor they cannot make their own decision to live or not.

My boyfriend wants his car back after two years of his wife driving it. It's paid for and in his name. He left her and they've been seperated for two years now. Now she's hidden the car and won't let him have it. If he knows where it is, is he legally allowed to go and take/steal it if the title is in his name although she's still legally his wife and she's been driving it for the past two years.

Ok, when someone is on the run and leaves state, how often do they check your social security number to locate it's last usage? And what databases do they access to find this info? My buddy has been runnin' for awhile and I cannot find him anymore, but last email I got he was working...just didn't say where!

Second, do driver's licenses have GPS enablement in them? Someone said they did.

I guess what I am asking is how often do they try and seek out a person? He has a Petition to Revoke on a Fraud Charge. Only facing a year....Do they have detectives working around the clock on stuff like this?

The oil-for-food program was a disaster from start to finish....seems as though everyone got rich and the only ones that suffered were the Iraqi citizens......Even the US participated in that...why would the CIA seal that and only that(the US involvement part)......why would Bush want to protect Exxon and Chevron?

Most of the stuff you hear is anti-war. For instance, in the newspaper today, the headline was "3000 dead in Iraq" - and nothing about President Ford until the second section.
