Ok, when someone is on the run and leaves state, how often do they check your social security number to locate it's last usage? And what databases do they access to find this info? My buddy has been runnin' for awhile and I cannot find him anymore, but last email I got he was working...just didn't say where!

Second, do driver's licenses have GPS enablement in them? Someone said they did.

I guess what I am asking is how often do they try and seek out a person? He has a Petition to Revoke on a Fraud Charge. Only facing a year....Do they have detectives working around the clock on stuff like this?

Not been GONE for a year...Only facing a year on the Petition to Revoke (had been sentenced to 2 years of probation, and in Indiana you get 2 days for every 1 good day.)

I'm not sure what your friends situation is, but a good Private detective can find him. Usually through drivers licenses, vehicle registrations, credit card usage, tax information, the list goes on and on. I recommend the book; "The PI handbook by Chuck Chambers". He lists about a thousand way to find people and also about a thousand ways to be invisible, hopefully your Friend hasn't read this book. Good Luck!

Running for ONLY a year??!!? Damn! NCIC checks are done anytime a cop asks for your I.D. and that would definitely show a Felony Warrant. Only Murder/Rape/Drug offenders are searched for. It's too costly to catch someone who has a minor infraction.
