In the Navy you can get signed off on the DEP Book before BT and you'll be an E-2 going in. They also have it where if you have 2-4 friends enlist under your name you'll obtain rank E-2 to E-3 goin into BT.

Does the Coast Guard have these or anything similar to them?

(United States)

Talk about hypocrites. They need to shut the hell up and stop telling us what to do. I am so sick of their bs!!

"Some of the worst abuses take place on the coffee plantations of Chiapas state, where some 40,000 Guatemalan field hands endure backbreaking jobs and squalid living conditions to earn roughly $3.50 a day. Some growers even deduct the cost of room and board from that amount. "If you ask them, 'Why are you bringing in Guatemalans to work?' they say, 'You can't depend on Mexicans. They don't work hard; they're irresponsible'," says George Grayson, a political scientist specializing in Mexico at the College of William & Mary. "The truth is, you can pay [the guest workers] a pittance. And if they cause the slightest disturbance, you can send them back to Guatemala."

( YES ) I think Hillary Clinton would make a great president. She is a very intellagent woman and I truely believe She is what this country needs. We have yet to have a woman for President but I feel she can pull us out of this huge debt and help change this country and make it a better safer place to live for all.
Please everyone keep this topic clean Thanks for taken the time to read and post.

Our troops are getting in trouble for stupid things but anyway just wanted to see what you people have to say about this:

If you were over there and a kid (any age) comes up to you holding a gun do you think its worth shooting the kid or for you to get shot by the kid?

I saw it on inside edition today that a judge ruled that a couple that smoked 4 packs of cigarettes a day could not smoke in their own home anymore because the smoke smell was coming in the cracks and vents and was ruled as a "nuisance" to the adjoining neighbors. Do you think he would have ruled the same if it had been say......incense or air freshner or even frying onions smell coming in the apartments? What if they were bad cooks and always burnt dinner? Isn't that legally just as toxic and a nuisance?

Since we are the largets market in the world why not put it up for the best offer? For instance. kinda like tell the world that who ever can offer us oil cheaper than anyone else will get all of our bussiness regarding oil. Sort of force a monopoly on everything.

I have heard from many of going to traffic court, hoping the cop won't show up, then your case can get dismissed.

How often does the cop actually show up at a traffic case?

Could the judge dismiss the case for sure if the cop doesn't show up?

I was too young to vote in 2004, so now that another voting year is coming soon, I want to be a part of the election. I am just now reading up on politics and how everything works so that I am an educated voter.

However, searching for all presidential candidates for the 2008 campaign is proving to no avail and I am having problems. Someone, please tell me who all of the 2008 presidential election candidates are (for both democratic and republican parties, please). Thank you!

We are in Iraq because Bush's Jewish masters ordered him to use American soldiers as cannon-fodder to fight Israel's war. Israel's goal is to absolutely dominate the middle east without sacrificing their own blood. Israel thought it would be a cake walk to murder thousands of Lebanese and destroy their country, but they found out that the Lebanese, Palestinians, and others in the middle east are fed up with Israeli genocide. Israel has nothing to fear from Iran regarding nuclear weapons. Quite the contrary - it is Israel who possesses a nuclear arsenal, and it is Israel who will no doubt use nukes against Iran and Iraq someday. The "big plan" of Bush and his neo-con warmongers was to defeat Iraq militarily, establish 14 permanent military bases in Iraq, and to use the US military to control events in the middle east. Fortunately, the US military has been defeated in Iraq and the US must now put its tail between its legs and get out of the middle east. open your eyes!!! please people!
