Do I have the right to reclaim my land?

Possibly not. You need to look up the "adverse possession" statutes in your province. If it's been over 20 years, you have probably lost title.

In the US, if they occupy the land for as little as 5 years in some instances, they become the owner. The law favors those who actually use the land, not owners who ignore thier rights.

Check with a Quebec lawyer. Napoleonic legal origins make your question one that few others can intelligently speak to.

If you can prove title, you can evict him or sell him an easement. See a lawyer FIRST.
