I now understand from the news that we still owe £62 billion for the First war. Does any else out there think that we should just say enough is enough. By my reconing we will have paid at 60 million per year, which multiplies up to £3600 million for the small loans given at the end of the Second War to rebuild the country while the Yanks used our money to rebuild Germany.

Most find it comforting to say America is founded on Christian beliefs with laws following. Demanding the death sentence, is this what Jesus was thinking we would take from the Beatitudes?

My bush barely hung over the property line. Before I had a chance to trim the bush, my neighbor hacked at the bush cutting a foot over the property line. She never mentioned that the bush was a problem and cut the bush while I was not at home. When asked why she cut the bush, she said that it was blocking the view of her tree. This is interesting since the bush is not between her tree and her house, her tree is taller than the bush, and the only time the bush may block her "view" is when she is speeding into her driveway.

my sister worked for a chevron gas station in fl and in august she had a customer leave her wallet in the store when she came in on second shift. a second shift cashier put the wallet in a brown paper bag and placed it behind the register. several people on second shift were seen on video rummaging through the wallet as if looking for I.d. or a contact number. when 3rd shift came in they were told by 2nd shift what had happened. my sister who was the manager came in on 1st shift and was greeted at the door by the customer. the customer xplained what happened and my sister started looking for the wallet. she searched and could not find anything. she advised the customer to come in later after she speaks to all employees. after the lady left my sister and her asistant searched everywhere and found nothing. the lady came back in that night and spoke with a girl on second shift who told the lady that she gave the brown bag containing the wallet to the manager. the lady came in again

First will that even be possible...and second what will that do for Iraq...if anything?

The amount of troops they are talking about is surely not enough to secure ALL of Iraq....and dosen't seem possible that 30,000 additional troops could even secure Baghdad for that matter....but if he is able.....would that constitute a victory?

I see a trend with the current administration to blame the previous administration for EVERYTHING that they do wrong today. Curiously enough, they never blame the administration BEFORE Clinton, they sometimes reach as far back as Carter, but not Bush senior.

Is 'the buck stops there' a modified Bushism too?
