First will that even be possible...and second what will that do for Iraq...if anything?

The amount of troops they are talking about is surely not enough to secure ALL of Iraq....and dosen't seem possible that 30,000 additional troops could even secure Baghdad for that matter....but if he is able.....would that constitute a victory?

Victory has already been won. We kicked their *** and found weapons of mass destruction, freed the people, they chose a government and are now putting things together. The additional troops are the democrates idea from the commision that "studied" the situation and he would be acting on Their advice.

He hasn't come up with a plan yet, we have been there like 4 or 5 years and he has no plan, what makes you think that he has a plan now. He is a corrupt and failed president that the American people should be ashamed of.

The more people we send to occupy the more people will stand up to protest our troops. I think we need to send more ordinance-es to help defeat the leaders in their gathering places. The enemy just defies us by posting the meeting time. The enemy is recruiting film makers to produce instructional video's for car bombs. We need to fight fire with fire not fire to naked warriors.
