I now understand from the news that we still owe £62 billion for the First war. Does any else out there think that we should just say enough is enough. By my reconing we will have paid at 60 million per year, which multiplies up to £3600 million for the small loans given at the end of the Second War to rebuild the country while the Yanks used our money to rebuild Germany.

Don't ever ask for help again. Not one penny from the treasury, not one drop of American blood to help the whiny Brits any more.

It's a deal. Now let's get out of NATO, so we don't have to prop up the European militaries any longer.

Go, and trouble us no longer!

Perhaps you can take the UN, too.

All of the Allies agreed on funds to come from each of their countries to rebuild Germany. It wasn't the "Yanks" that used your money, it was an agreed upon resolution by all Allied nations. How much of a price do you want to put on the fact that you are speaking English and not German?
