People can't walk with their families to the gate after 9/11. People have to take off their shoes after the guy tried to light his shoes on fire. People can't take drinks through airport security after those terrorists tried to make the Gatorade explosives. So tell me this. When a terrorist figures out that he can tie a knife or blade of some kind to his genitals, will we all need to start getting cavity searches in airport security?

Was it the same group of geniuses who thought feeding dead cows to live cows was a good idea? My thought: let those who support this idea feed their families on cloned meat for ten years or so and see how they feel before declaring it safe.

Here we go. My grandparents owned a home and had 3 children.
Child 1 passed away before they did. Child 2 passed away after they did. Child 3 is still alive. Each deceased child has 2 children (grandchildren)

The will has only now been found by child 3 after the passing of mom, dad, child 1 and child 2. The will states child 2 owed the parents 29,000 and that his portion of the estate would be lessened by that much. Since child 2 never received anything because he passed away before the estate was divided and the will was enforced.....how should 80.000 (the full estate) be divided?

In 1945 the US lent Britain 2 billion dollars for the war effort. In 1946 the US called in the loan, forcing Britain to renegotiate the terms. Today, 60 years later, the Bank of England made the final payment. How much were the British screwed for ? Does this mean that finally the British will stop kissing American ***?

As soon as the sun goes down, it is unsafe to go out alone. Salt Lake, Ogden, Provo, Orem....all filled with Mexican gangs. There are many places unsafe during the day.

Our Attorney General loves illegals and his argument is "We don't have enough room in our jails for them" so he does nothing...his name...Mark Shurtleff....who wept with great emotion upon meeting Vicente Fox, his hero.

Meanwhile, legal citizens live in fear....places where you never locked your house or cars only 3 years ago are battle zones today...the cancer spreads.

I passed a guy on the freeway today who had his military ribbons displayed on his rear window. Looked very impressive.

We have now paid the leaches in America for the Second War (at 60 million per year it comes to more than 3600 million) and I am informed by the BBC news that we still owe 60 Billion for the First War. Some friends the Yanks and nowonder they were able to rebuild Germany and the rest of Europe with Marshal aid, none of which was for us in Britain, puts their real feelings for us in perspective doesn't it. Anyone else out there who think that we should just tell the Yanks to boil their heads over the rest as with friends like America who needs enemies?

How do I know Bin Laden is dead you ask? In the past he would release video after video claiming Al Qeada was responsible for attacks. Now, no videos month after month. The US has not been attacked as Al Qeada promised since 9-11 because of our aggressive war on terror.

I hate to disapoint you, but we are winning the war on terror!!!!

Politicians make promises to buy votes. The money comes from taxes. But what the government is taking in is not enough to pay for all the promises, so the government "borrows" from future taxes. The "on-books" deficit is currently about $9 trillion, but the "off-books" cost of social security and medicare is over $44 trillion.

The entire US economy is only $10 trillion a year. That means that young folks today (say, under 30) are going to have to pay higher taxes than ever - and when it comes their turn to collect on promises - there will be NOTHING left.

How do the younger folks feel about paying and extra 20%-30% of their paycheck for programs that won't ever return anything to them?

Do you feel that it is our duty to kill him? Do you think that Iraq will be better off?

I personally am against the hanging of anyone, even a tyrant; I do believe he should answer for what he has done as a human being to other human beings. I thing death by hanging is to easy, all that does is satisfy his need to become a Martyr

Seriously, suppose you had indisputable evidence (video, uncoerced written confession, etc.) of someone victimizing you and/or your family. Would it really be all that wrong to just take them out back in the tool shed and kick the living crap out of them or sever some limbs? I work in corrections and prisons and jails are just places for these people to socialize. There is no deterent left in this country except for immediate, swift, harsh retribution.

In certain countries, persons who successfully commit suicide are handcuffed by the bobby.

Myth ?

The dead are handcuffed to symbolise taking their own lives as a state crime by denying the community of services that would have otherwise been rendered by a live active participant of society.

Rationale ?

The dead owes a debt to society insofar as resources used to bring the person into being from child birth to the current state before the act of suicide.

What and where does the rational behind this practice stem from ?

...He has made what's seen as a historic step in relation to backing police service in the six counties. He says there will be difficulties from both sides - but the methods in which to solve what may arrive in the near or distant future will be far removed from what would have occurred thirty (or even 10) years ago.
All it requires now is the DUP and Rev. Ian Paisley to show willingness. Will Mr. Adams - and the DUP leadership be recognised...if not perhaps by a wee medal, but instead by summat more substantial - history...and not only the history (cliched and otherwise) of the latter third of the 20th century?
