I went to prison on a felony possession charge but I got out of it before and it took lots of money and a good lawyer , when I went to prison I had a public defender.Their is no real defense, the law has not much mercy on drug users they do more time than murderers in meth cases.It all has to do with money the law is as corrupt as the offenders in some cases.

What do you mean defense? Is that person innocent? Unless you are a minor you cannot use the "I was just holding it for someone" excuse. If this is your first offense then maybe you can plea to a lesser charge. There are a lot of issues to cover. Were you the only person involved? Was there cash recovered, etc? You should talk to a lawyer. I'm a paralegal and these are just questions off the top of my head. Anyway...Good Luck!
