What was the threat he needs to be eliminated for?
He will always be remembered as an Iraqui by Iraquis and no amount of propaganda will change that.
The ones who have him killed will in all probability be remebered for Helping the United States kill him and no amount of propaganda will remove that.
The amount of carnage caused by Amerians in trying to kil him will be remembered and no amount of propaganda will remove that.
Saddam was a despot and an evil man and no amount of propaganda will remove that.
Killed by Iraquis appointed and led by the US, Saddam will die an Iraqui, and no amount of propaganda will remove that.
Martyr is a strong word and in the context of what we in US think of it, mostly a man/woman who dies doing good works, religous indoctrination as causing, is not the terue meaning to many others.
Add in Nationalism, religion idealism, and other facotrs only time will tell.

He has not been a threat for some time and he will only be a martyr to Islamic extremists. So basically, his execution simply means that the Iraqis have sought and achieved justice.

Neither. He was a bad man to his people but he was never a real threat to the United States. He wasn't strong or powerful enough without Weapons of Mass Destruction! And how can he learn anything from being hanged? It's not like after he's hanged he can say, "Well, I shouldn't have killed those guys. I won't do that again!"

there is not any doubt that we created a martyr out of Saddam to the Baathists. To the Shiites, no. it quite is a sturdy wager how some years that is going to take for issues to ever be rather resolved in Iraq -- and the area is worse for women there now than it develop into in the previous. to no longer point out they now have DU all over the rustic -- the present that keeps on giving. ##

removing a threat...although there will be some who will make him a martyr and the really sad thing is they are americans and some american leaders who would rather shed a tear for him than the thousands of iraqi citizens who suffered at his hands and the thousands who died on american soil because of his financial and personal support of bin laden.

Does anyone deserve to face punishment for their crimes.. . . .regardless of what foolish people may do AFTER the punishment is delivered ?!?!

Ya see. . .. . it doesn't have ANY relevance whatsoever !!
