Do you feel that it is our duty to kill him? Do you think that Iraq will be better off?

I personally am against the hanging of anyone, even a tyrant; I do believe he should answer for what he has done as a human being to other human beings. I thing death by hanging is to easy, all that does is satisfy his need to become a Martyr

Something that many people do not realize is, most criminals would rather be killed than to spend life in prison. But it is the Iraqis' decision to hang him.

I think he should be hung. I think if we did that in the U.S. it would cut down crime by 120%.

I realize people say they would be rather be put to death than sit in a cell forever. BUT, don't kid yourself. No one likes to think about their own hanging. No matter how minor the hope is to get out of prison, they always entertain the thought of an appeal or something to get them back out in the street.

If hanging satisfies someones need to become a martyr, so be it. As long as that person is dead and can no longer be on this planet, that is fine with me.

He was sentenced by a court where he had the opportunity to have a defense attorney, cross examine his accusers, and presets witnesses of his own. I support his hanging, though I do not think it will end the battle for Iraq.

First of all, WE are not the ones who tried him, or sentenced him to death. This is why we are there, to help the Iraqis form their own democracy. Personally, I have never really made up my mind about the death penalty, but I think that if anything, THIS is the type of case where it really is justified.

"our" duty? This was the sentence of an Iraqi court.

How do I "feel"? I don't really care that Saddam is being hanged. He fully earned the punishment.

I agree they'd desire to have shot him quickly whilst they pulled him out of the hollow he replaced into hiding in particularly of subjecting us and him to a kangaroo courtroom and protecting it up as by some capacity being the criminal justice of an self sustaining democracy. what number human beings would care to be tried in a courtroom the place the decide replaced into replaced midway during the trial and your protection criminal specialists who weren't assasinated quit the trial till now it ended? I definitely does no longer decide on such grand justice given to me. lots of holes in that trial, the ideas and the prejudice because of the fact its wrapped up in direction of a civil conflict that it might have been lots extra constructive to enable the United countries and the international criminal courtroom attempt him someplace else like the murderers in Rawanda, Serbia and different cutting-edge conflicts. he's a foul guy and does deserve justice and in all risk execution, yet there's a such element as due technique even for a tyrant.

Not really..Iraq wont be better in parts..but I am against hanging him..He needs to have a worse, slower, painful death. Wrap him up in wet rawhide and set him in the sun for a week. or just tie him up with one strap of rawhide around his head so it slowly squeezes his brains in.

Im opposed to the death penalty but in this case I'll make an exception as his guilt is beyond doubt and to remove him as a focus for the insurgency.

Death is a natural part of life, and worms gotta eat. The sooner they're feeding on this worthless waste of skin, the better.

I watched a story about his life on the Discovery Channel and it was pretty interesting. I remember this one part that he was talking to his nation outside (it was black & white film) and he started calling out names and he called about 50 names out and little did they know when they went back there, they were in front of a firing squad. He was evil. So really, I don't care what they do with him. They ought to let the families of the people he killed or had killed vote on what they ought to do with him.
