well the prospect of a world without another psychopath is a good one. however the opportunity for a political crisis is too daunting for my liking. a looming opportunity for retaliation on the part of the opposing side is too much of a possibility. this is all happening too soon, and i believe that more care should have been taken.

Not anymore. My family and I used to joke that he should be hung by the ****. Now for some strange reason, I don't feel right about killing him. I know he killed a lot of people and did a lot of bad things but I can't help feeling bad. Then I think about how I'd feel if he had killed member of my own family. I don't know why I'm giving it this much thought actually.

How can any human being look forward to see someone die? Death is one of my worst phobia, because since I'm agnostic, I have no "heaven" to look forward to. Saddam may have killed so many people during his reign and he deserved to be put to sleep, but no, I can't say I look forward to it.

the majority of ppl don't look forward to anyone dying even the bad ppl...but you have to consider this is the iraqi government and ppl's decision and their form of punishment for crimes committed in their country and to their ppl. surely you can understand that many, many iraqi's lost whole families to saddam and his ilk and are finally going to see justice done....they deserve this and let's face it so does he...sometimes getting what you deserve is a *****.

Not exactly since "hanging" seems so medieval. Why can't they just overdose him on Benadryl and give him a lethal injection instead? Why make a public spectacle that would encourage more violence and terror?

The death penelty is both barbaric and wrong, no I will not look forward to seeing him die. Spending the rest of his life in a cage should be punishment enough.

I really don't want to see anyone die. I'd rather the bastard be tortured...then see GWB tortured right after him...evil is evil after all - killing is killing - what's the difference?
Anyway I don't think he'll be executed, no matter what any judge says. We shall see I guess!

Not as much as I'm looking forward to a sense of peace coming to the people of Iraq.

I do not believe in killing in the name of Democracy or anything else. This is wrong. Any killing is wrong. This is even more sad when some are eagerly waiting to hear about the execution....very sad in deed...
