I am being harrassed by, cussed at harangued and discriminated against by a neighbour. She stands in the hallway between her and my apartment door and talks to other tenants discriminately about me, against my illness and others with my disability. Her gossiping in the hallway is a public area of the building. She rants loudly enough that I can clearly hear these nasty conversations from within my home. I would like to tape her conversations in order to have her evicted. Would it be legal to record her and the other party from my own dwelling without their prior knowledge. If I do this can I be arrested for it?.... or will it just not be usable in a court of law should the property managment try to evict her for misconduct or if I should decide to bring a law suit against her. Her rantings are causing me a great deal of anxiety and is effecting my emotional and mental health. What suggestions do you have for me?

Last summer I traveled to Cabo San Lucas and rediscovered Mexico! Wow! what a beautiful country! Wonderful town! Great food! Good service! High class condos? The Mexicans know how to build! They build to American standards. They are really talented! Many wonderful supermarkets! Home Depot, too! Fantastic malls with incredible architecture! Delicious food! Tons of people who speak English. Many college grads!
New construction everywhere!
That country is cooking!
Who would want to leave it!
They have all that petroleum, too!
Money comes to many people living there from tourism, business, manufacturing and international commerce.
Hey, all you illegals, there are millions of jobs waiting for you back home! You'll love it!
Can you go home now?

The vast majority of political seats in this country have no limits on how many terms one can serve, this goes from congress all the way down to your city council, and even your board of education. This was not the way our country was origianally set up. somewhere along the years from our founding, rules were changed so that elitists could remain in control of government nationwide, the origianal intent of public service was to be elected, serve without pay or benefits, and return to your everyday life, look at it now, it's appalling. The only way to combat something like this is to vote anyone who has served more than 2 terms in any seat of government out. They don't have limits, so we impose them, we vote, we can change this.

These creeps like Al Qaida, Hizbollah , Hamas, and so on , know no dignity and have no integrity what-so-ever !! They lob rockets full of nuts bolts and ball bearings into civilian areas in Israel, and when Israel retaliates, they hide in populated areas near schools apartment complexes, and shopping centers. They behead an innocent kid like Nick Berg on film and post the gruesome video on the internet to instill fear into the minds and hearts of anyone who opposes their barbaric "religious" philosophy. They drag the corpses of American civilians through the streets of Fallujah, and hang their burning bodies from an overpass. They set off car bombs in crowded places of commerce in Baghdad, and when the emergency medical personnel arrive to aid the wounded, set off a 2nd bomb to kill and maim the police and paramedics who have responded to their heinous attack. These are the same animals who deny a rape victim justice because she cannot produce 5 male witnesses to the crime.

1. secretly decided to go to war;
2. decided to deceive and mislead the Congress and the American people with false claims about both weapons of mass destruction and ties between Saddam Hussein and 9-11;
3. secretly diverted $700 million from the War in Afghanistan and started bombing Iraq to provoke a war;
4. agreed to go to the UN only to "legalize" an illegal invasion - and then walked out of the U.N. when inspections worked.

Items 2 and 3 are both impeachable offenses. The Bush Administration's conspiracy to deceive Congress culminated in a fraudulent letter to Congress on March 18, 2003, claiming continued U.N. inspections would endanger the national security of the United States.
http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/?q=node/611

This fraud violated the federal anti-conspiracy statute, 18 U.S.C. § 371, which makes it a felony "to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose..."; and The False Statements Accountability Act of 1996, 18 U.S.C. § 1001, which makes it a felony to issue knowingly and willfully false statements to the United States Congress.

President Bush did not declare war until March 2003. Congress did not authorize military action until October 11, 2002. But Bush began an air war six weeks before that authorization and increased "spikes of activity" five months before. This means that additional communications to Congress from the President, claiming that he had not yet begun the war, may be felonious, and that Bush violated the Constitutional requirement that Congress authorize any war.

These criminal actions constitute High Crimes under Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution: "The President, Vice President, and all civil officers of the United States shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

I applied for a position in staffing which required a drug test & background investigation. I went through a 3 phase extensive interview process. It took around 3 weeks to get my approval. I started my job & had worked for a month. One day out of the blue, H.R. called me & said they were putting my file together & noticed I had checked "yes" on being convicted of a felony. I once again replied "Yes". I was told they would e-mail me a form to fill out that would be placed in my file. They said it was no big deal & would be kept confidential. I filled out the form & e-mailed it back. My felony was several years ago & was for checks. The next day I was merting with a client when I received a call from my District Manager. She told me I was being placed on Administrative leave & would still be paid. The same day, they had the locks changed to the company. I was told not to work any of my candidates & they would contact me. I still haven't heard anything. Can they fire me?

My daughter asked about things that citizen's of the United States would do. She asked if in different times would business close during the mouring. She asked since all flags were ordered at half staff for 30 days. Do we light candles or anything that is tradition? Official things only or a website direction might work. She will be discussing this in her history and government class as well as watching coverage of the Ford State Funeral Friday.

Most recent polls show only 33-36% of Americans approve of his performance, vastly down from the 84-88% he enjoyed shortly after 9-11. Newt Gingrich has formally broken off ties to the White House, saying conservatives need to focus on rebuilding their ranks for the 2008 elections. What's a course of action the President can take to win back the graces of the American people?

Don't get me wrong or call me a racist bigot because of my question. First things first, I'm PRO-Immigration, so long as it is done LEGALLY.

At any rate, I'm hoping to find some decent websites that give good insight, facts, and opinions of respectable Americans like Lou Dobbs, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, and people who are from all "sides" of the political party.

Why do so many people want to twist the facts, want to say that if you are against the war in Iraq and you dont like Bush you hate America and you hate our soldiers? Cant you disagree with our President yet still love America? Cant these people understand that just because you dont agree with the direction this war is being ran you still can support our soldiers? Just because i think the leadership that has led our soldiers into Iraq has been a complete and total JOKE does not mean that i hate the soldiers and party when i hear more have died.

Making a really long story short. Husband and I have a 2 month old son who is an extremly happy baby, weight on target, no signs of neglect or abuse. Developementally right on target. Last Wens my husband stood up after bouncing our son on his knee, went to put the baby into the carseat and the baby slipped out of his hands into the carseat. He fell a distance of about 2 1/2 foot and his arm hit the handle of the seat. Husband didnt tell me up front that he had dropped baby but noticed our son's arm didnt seem right. We took him to the ER within 20 minutes of the incident and found out that his arm was broken. CPS was called, and a very intimidating indivudual came in and started accusing us of smaking the baby across the wall or some other form of "blunt force trauma". ER doctors report says that break was obviously caused by accident. State police said it was apparent no criminal act had occured and closed the case. CPS however filed a motion to remove both my 2 month old and my 7 year old from the home, stating that they were in "iminent danger" in the household. We were ordered to bring our son to a CT scan, which we did, and that came back negative for any head trauma. We were told that if we agreed to the CT scan, they would drop trying to take my children away, however when we got back to court, they continued with their motion to take the children from my home. IN order to get CPS to drop the motion, they said my husband and I would have to plead "no contest" in front of the judge. My understanding was that I was pleading that I admitted that the child could not have broken his own arm by himself, which I do not disagree with since my husband dropping him was the cause of the break (proven by medical evidence). I also agreed that CPS could come into our home at any time they wanted until the disposition hearing Jan 4th, as well as 28 days of intense home therapy with a crisis service here in Michigan. Crisis services have come out ot our home 5 times now and the only faults they can find in our home is 1.) no fire estinguisher 2.) no first aid kit and 3.) we do not leave child with a sitter and have couple time alone without the baby . Crisis services assure us that we have a good case and that they forsee everything ending following the disposition on the 4th.

However, I am not confused as to the "no Contest" plea. Originally I believed I was saying we were not guilty of abusing our son, only that my husband accidentally dropping him lead to the injury. Im now reading online that a "no contest" plea is as bad as being found guilty and that I would no longer be able to have certian rights. I work in the medical field around children daily and having a child abuse badge around my neck could cause me to lose my job. My husband is also about to join the military and now we are worried that this might have some affect on that. My lawyer is the one who told us to plead the "no contest" and he failed to tell us exactly what we were doing, only that it was "in our best intrest". I feel like I've been snowed. Any advice would be helpful.
