While women officers and enlisted personnel serve with distinction in the U.S. Armed Forces, women have never been subject to Selective Service registration or a military draft in America.

There have been three times in history that our government took it into consideration the possibility of requiring women to take part in a draft. During World War II, during the Carter Administration and again during the Clinton Administration when President Clinton asked the Secretary of Defense to update its mobilization requirements for the Selective Service System and, as a part of the effort, "continue to review the arguments for and against continuing to exclude women from registration now that they can be assigned to combat roles other than ground combat."

For all you young men out there...

Should females be required to register (and possibly serve in the military) the same as you for the draft?

We said on Nov 7, 06, that we wanted OUT of Iraq. Bush says he's sending more troops.

Not to mention the other COUNTLESS acts of "I don't care what you citizens want" by GW Bush, do you need any more proof that Bush is a TRAITOR?

And if you don't, then you need to get with your Senators and Congressmen and voice your desire to see the entire Bush Administration Impeached.

Please read the article. I wonder, is this just another, in the long list of spewed propaganda, designed to provide hope, or better said, false hope?

I mean really, as if the November 7, 2006 message wasn't clear enough. Why are we even discussing the withdraw from Iraq? There's nothing to discuss if our votes MEAN ANYTHING. We the people have spoken. Get OUR PEOPLE OUT of Iraq. It's that simple. There is nothing to talk about.

I'm 19, I was driving under the influence, and someone pulled out in front of my without looking. Now I have a OUI and Driving to endanger charge to deal with. What should I know. Sentancing, should I challenge the driving to endanger because the other drive backed out into my lane (although she denies it). The other driver was 16, with little driving experience.

What kind of court fees and fines am I looking at. What is my best course of action. Anything

The U.S. military, meanwhile, said seven more American soldiers had died, pushing the U.S. military death toll for the month to 90. With five days remaining in the month, December is already the second deadliest month for the U.S. military this year, behind the 105 soldiers killed in October.

In Washington, White House Deputy Press Secretary Scott Stanzel said Tuesday that President Bush grieves for each member of the armed forces who has died.

"The war on terror is going to be a long struggle," he said. "We will be fighting violent jihadists for the peace and security of the civilized world for many years to come."

I want to divorce my wife but I know if I divorce her she will file false spouse abusal to get revenge . Her behavior is abnormal . She stopped talking to people in the community several months, she does not pick up any phone calls except her parents and me, she does not even respond to email. If any neighbour comes she does not talk or come in front of them, Once they are gone she becomes extremly angry with very bad languages . Because of her I cannot go to any social gathering bcause she won't go and I cannot explain to people why she won't go.
I asked her to see a pshycriatist but she does not want to keep any medical record. She also threatens me if I bother on this then she will sue against me on spousal abuse which will cause lots of trouble in my immigration. The main problem is I cannot have any witness as she does not talk to anybody or even when she talks
she behaves normal infront of others and after they are gone she becomes mad at me.

My neighbors play loud music late into most evenings. Usually, it lasts from 7 PM to 4 or 5 AM. The music is so loud that my bedroom wall sometimes shakes, and sleep can only be found via wearing earplugs. I have talked to the neighbors, who are different by the month. They will turn the music down for a few minutes, then right back up. Often, they are intoxicated and refuse to cooperate. The last straw was on Christmas Eve. They played music until 4 AM. I called the police, who did not come until noon on Christmas. I was so tired of a problem of three years, that I almost fought with them, but they were too drunk to turn it down. I have called the police. Most of the time, by the time they arrive the music is off. I have written a letter to the neighbors, who have not acknowledged or responded to it. I asked the police for advise, who said to form a community action network... lol! I feel that there is nothing I can do! BTW, I am moving out in two years. But, what to do until then?

I previously posted a question about my (illegal) neighbors playing loud music for all hours into the night, and the police not doing much about it, because by the time they arrive the music is off. One posted said to call INS to have them deported. Is it really that simple? If so, why are millions still here? I just want to know if being deported is as simple as that. And yes, the loud music problem is still happening.

On Christmas Eve while at the Bills/ Titans game, our car was broken into and my wallet was stolen. What are the chances that I'll ever see it again ? It had no cash in it and I cancelled my bank card before any activity. My ID does not have my current address. The stadium lost and found doesn't have it. Some ppl have said that a kind person might try to return it but I can only imagine it in one of the many fire barrels in the parking lot ! Everything can be replaced except pictures of my daughter and family, including my digital camera's memory card. I am very pessimistic about this.

My husband's mother is 92 with failing health. She is a widow living in her own home. She has a small house and lot of valuable antiques my sister-in-law would love to get hands on.

My husband and his sister do not get along, she is a control freak who cannot be trusted. Her husband is even worse and we suspect stole money and jewels from the house. My husband is worried that when his mother passes that he will be stuck dealing with his nasty sister and her husband over handling the estate.

The sister is very shrewd and smart about matters concerning Illinois law. We need advice on what steps we should take to head off any problem that I'm sure will arise.

The mother has a will but is leaving the dividing of property up to her two children. She has given power of attorney jointly to both of them,

My husband said he would get a lawyer and have the estate tied up in court rather than deal with his money-hungry sister. He values peace rather that riches. Should we get a lawyer?

I was taken advantage of by a cab driver on Christmas. He had an illegal cab, agreed to a flat rate to my destination, then after having to backtrack 4 times, and add an extra 10 miles to the trip, he had the audacity to demand almost double what we agreed on, and threatened to tell the police that I refused to pay the fare if I didn't give him more money. I was maneuvered and taken advantage of because I needed to get to my relatives' house. What would you do?
