My neighbors play loud music late into most evenings. Usually, it lasts from 7 PM to 4 or 5 AM. The music is so loud that my bedroom wall sometimes shakes, and sleep can only be found via wearing earplugs. I have talked to the neighbors, who are different by the month. They will turn the music down for a few minutes, then right back up. Often, they are intoxicated and refuse to cooperate. The last straw was on Christmas Eve. They played music until 4 AM. I called the police, who did not come until noon on Christmas. I was so tired of a problem of three years, that I almost fought with them, but they were too drunk to turn it down. I have called the police. Most of the time, by the time they arrive the music is off. I have written a letter to the neighbors, who have not acknowledged or responded to it. I asked the police for advise, who said to form a community action network... lol! I feel that there is nothing I can do! BTW, I am moving out in two years. But, what to do until then?

2 years is a long time to put up with that cr@p.

Do they rent? If so, you have many options. Call/write the landlord. Threaten to call the city rental inspections office, etc.

I had some little gangster thugs that lived across from me a few years back. Mom owned the house and she got high with the kids and their friends all the time, so talking to her did no good.
They dealt drugs and stolen merchandise, so the party would be on the minute it got dark.
The first thing I did was buy those super bright halogen lights and mount them on my house, when the music started blaring across the street, I lit up their house like an airport runway.
Then I resurrected my son's huge stereo system from the 90's and faced all the speakers right at their house. I played Polka music as loud as that stereo could go (and it was a top-of-the-line JVC in its day).
Then at 8:00 a.m. in the morning I would put a lawnmower on each side of their house in 2 different neighbor's yards and just let them run. All the other neighbors on the block were behind me on this--they were just elderly and afraid of the little gangsters.

I did all this simultaneously--within about 3 days the gangsters quit their outdoor parties. I also called every city office I could think of and made a total pest out of myself. There was a police car or city car at that house at least 4 times a week. The gangster finally sold the house and moved.

You should never have let it go on for 3 years!! Just call the police ever single time you hear their music to loud. Let the police deal with it! Your city I'm sure has laws on noise, usually it's no noise 11:00 pm to 7:00am. Just call every single time, more than once in a night if necessary! The police should be writing tickets to them!

Call your local Police Department and file a complaint. If nothing is done contact your Mayors office in writing. Most cities and towns have some sort of ordinance to prevent such behavior. Make sure when you contact your Mayor mention the fact that you already contacted the Police Department and they failed to act (if they failed to act). Let him know you are a voter and tax payer. Also let him know you are considering a law suit against all parties involved, including but not limited to the town, unless something is done. Let him know you do not wish to pursue this in court but unless something is done you may just have to go that route. Also, write these letters anonymously. You do not wish your neighbors to know you filed a complaint. Also don't mention your exact proximity to your neighbor in the letters but make it clear you live within close proximity.

A lot of places have quiet hours where music needs to be turned down (where I live, it's 10pm). The best thing to do is find out when that is. Then call the police when it's a problem. Try taking them to court (call a lawyer to do this).

On the other hand, you could walk next door probably when they are drunk (with earplugs on), probably turn up their stereo to max it out walk out and wait for the speakers to blow up.

An earplug is a device to protect the wearer's
hearing from loud noises or the intrusion of water,
foreign bodies, dust or excessive wind.Wearing
earplugs is important, since once hearing is lost,
it cannot be regained. You can find more informations

Keep calling the police. Have all of your neighbors call the police. Besides anything violent or destructive, I would suggest you try to move sooner than 2 years.

i've got not got self assurance your tale, Undocumented pass out of their way , to no longer have touch with the police. in the event that they are Mexican and you think approximately all Mexicans as unlawful, i could have self assurance that is closer to the very fact. maximum communities have a noise ordinance, that starts at 10:00 pm and maximum communities have good enforcement of the regulation. Why do you wait ,to checklist it at a million in the morning, whilst loud music is breaking the regulation after 10:00 pm. have you ever heard of ear plugs, or are you in basic terms the neighbor from hell !

Do u live in an apartment complex? If so, consult with the landlord or owners of the apartment. They have the ability to terminate their lease if they don't comply with the lease and contract that they signed. If not, u could always consider fighting fire with fire? If those don't work.... Move.

Keep calling the cops until they either get tired of you and do something about the situation or get tired of them and do something about the situation. Sounds like you live in an apartment, you actually need to contact the apartment owner and notify him what is going on.
