What would you like to see happen in America in the next few years?
--
I would love to see Congress declare victory on Operation Iraqi Freedom and then let the Iraqis fight their own Civil War like America had to fight its Revolution for freedom. And then I would like to see us deal w/ N Korea and iran. Both w/ the same "Bomb them back to the Stone Age" strategys. We have enough firepower in the Sea of Japan right now to take out all of N Korea within a tiny time span; lets do it. And w/ Iran; lets stick 80,000 troops on the Israeli Border incase Iran tries to invade Israel, but those will be the only America boots on the ground. Let the US Navy and Air Force bomb the living hell out of every decent sizes Iranian city like we did in WWII w/ our enemys and lets see how long it takes them to surrender.(I give them a year tops)(At the same time Israel is handeling all ground warfare in Iran).
So yeah; I would love to see this happen. What would you like to see in the next, say, 3 years?

The American press just talks about soldier deaths, but because so many traditionally military jobs are now being performed by supposed contractors, I think that those deaths--which in any other conflict WOULD be counted as casualties--go unreported. Is there any source for an accurate count of American casualties then, that would include all of these people and not just the American citizens actually serving in the military when killed?

"Poor records plague Bush AIDS effort By RITA BEAMISH, Associated Press Writer
24 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - President Bush's ambitious AIDS-fighting program in poor countries has pushed so hard for fast results that basic record keeping and accountability often went by the wayside, making it hard to judge the true success, according to government audits and officials.

Investigators found the three-year-old, $15-billion program has over counted and undercounted thousands patients it helped or was unable to verify claims of success by local groups that took U.S. money to prevent the spread of disease or care for AIDS victims and their children".

The Bush administration, with its history of greed, homophobia and racial intolerance has the motive, means and opportunity to ensure this program would fail, all the while lining the pockets of fellow minded neocons.

Now, how are the spin doctors going to flip this to Clintons fault.

Did the "tratior" get you here?

As in the Emmerdale storyline, if a couple are married having been "living together" for a few months - certainly less than 12 months and barely 6 months - and the husband dies (by whatever means - foul or natural) DURING THE RECEPTION having made a contract for his future wife to have control of his businesses and assets on his death, is that "marriage" considered LEGAL if the marriage has not been consummated?

alley abortions...

Honestly, i could care less if abortion was illegal and women got back alley abortions bc if they're dumb enough to do that then i don't mind them dying to make the world a better place without retards that kill their children.

Are you happy libs? Didn't think we had it in us to say it, did ya?

I could rant all day about every aspect of abortion but thats one of the ones that are just feelings instead of the facts. I'm a atheist, i don't care if the bible says its good or bad, i think common sense covers this one.

I got my greencard since I am married to a citizen. My daughter is 30 years old and she is working in UK.
Can I file for her PR while she is still in UK or I can only do it if she is in US?
She is well off and can take care of herself but I want her to have a choice to be near me.
How long does it take for her to get the status?
Does she has to move to US once she gets PR?

Note: I didn't say all. I said disporportionately large.

Call me codependent, but i myself value politeness to and from all people, even to cops. I call them for a simple question about a license renewal and I get a sarcastic response. A Michigan judge agreed with me in a recent discussion. Why would someone continue in a profession that doesn't even pay that well if it makes him/her miserable?

Hey, if Saddam is to hang, what do you think will happen to Bush when WE finally catch up to him?

I cannot wait to see Bush on trial and when we do, it will be for MASS MURDEROUS TREASON, not to mention war crimes, fraud, and whatever else he's committed. My God, his trial is so complex we may just want to forego it all and use the infamous Bush Military Tribunal thing.

What are your thoughts? And if you disagree, just skip this one. I want to get intelligent responses.

Is it a more worthy pursuit to secure the freedom of self indulgence and stupidity of human nature and allow second hand smoke to inflict thousands daily... or allow a goverment to control the amount of exposure in an attempt to lower victims and save what little fresh air is left?

My child was sexually assaulted by his biological mother on several occasions. They had 3 different video taped out cries, a letter from the hospital social worker saying the child had internal injuries because as he said it "he wouldn't touch him self" so he was beaten, a letter from the COURT APPOINTED therapist stating abuse occurred, when it occurred and how it occurred, CPS findings of abuse but still a NO BILL. We want to fight it, can we or does it mean the double jeopardy law is in place? We live in TX and fear the only reason it was ruled as such was because it was the mother. If any of this evidence had been entered into for a man he would be serving 20 years right now!

Does anyone think UK politics is getting silly? Dumbed down? No big ideas just compromise? Not very intellectual? etc. I just always get the impression that all parties just want to do what they think we want them to do. Has Tony Blair improved politics in this country or not?
