On Christmas Eve while at the Bills/ Titans game, our car was broken into and my wallet was stolen. What are the chances that I'll ever see it again ? It had no cash in it and I cancelled my bank card before any activity. My ID does not have my current address. The stadium lost and found doesn't have it. Some ppl have said that a kind person might try to return it but I can only imagine it in one of the many fire barrels in the parking lot ! Everything can be replaced except pictures of my daughter and family, including my digital camera's memory card. I am very pessimistic about this.

I'm afraid the odds of a return of your property are very, very slim. Being that a "kind person" wouldn't break into your car in the first place, my guess would be that whomever abscounded with your stuff would have trashed anything that they couldn't use. Typically, pictures and other personal items are only quickly scanned for usable personal information (i.e. a PIN number) to assist the predator in stealing from you even more than he already has.

It's fortunate that your current information wasn't in the wallet and that none of your critical items were available or useful.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It's sad how desperate people get during the holidays.

I'm sorry for the loss of your wallet. I know that the pictures are priceless. And as for the memory card well lets pray that it was thrown away or burned. That way it wont show up on the Internet. Anyway just think about this, the pictures are maybe gone but the memory of your daughter is still in your heart. And so are the memories of the family they still exist in your heart as well. This may not recover your wallet but hope it helps you from being pessimistic.

I doubt that you will ever see your wallet again. I would suggest canceling all of your credit cards, and Im very sorry about the family pictures, but you are just going to find new ones. This happens a lot, many years ago, when my mother was in the hospital giving birth to my brother, her purse was stolen (can you imagine?) well, anyway, the only thing she could do was cancel her credit cards and get a new driver's liscense. Once again, I am very sorry.

I doubt weather you will ever see it again. I would hope for you but it is like 3 % of wallets ever returned to owners.

Unfortunately, I agree. I am pessimistic too, although anything can happen!
