Whatever, their claim is baseless. Sure, Spain controlled that part of the US when they also controlled Mexico, but that doesn't create any valid Mexican claim on the land. The Southwest was inhabited by Navahos and Hopis and such, not by Aztecs.

I think that how it is today is part of the package they want. If they want it back, all we have to do is nuke the states they want and make sure everything is level like it was before. Then lets see if they want the land back. It would be a lot easier to put a border around those states then the rest of the country, lol.

Hey say Mexican..not Latinos. Too much of a general term.
Thats what ive been saying all along. They act like they had the only hand in shaping America. Completely discounting the blood sweat and tears whites, blacks, asians and others have contributed. If they want their damn land then let us take everything that all us non mexicans have built and created. They will end up with nothing but taco stands! Im sick and tired of them acting like we need them.

Would Latinos want back the Southwest!! Not , BUT generalizing all Latinos as Mexicans ,would be like saying all Anglos are REDNECKS!!! LOL . Would Mexico take back the Southwest??? Maybe we should give it back! would that stop illegal immigration????

Seems they're pretty close to doing just that already. More and more of these once beautiful places are being described as "3rd world" areas. They're doing it up north too and this isn't even Atzlan territory. The ones here claim it's the entire continent they're after. So who knows. They follow the money.

Your question is stupid because Mexico changed a lot also since 1842 too. It's like giving land back to Palestinians but like it was 1948, and destroy everything to make it possible. Or giving back Israel to Israel (after WW2) but how it was 50 A.C. One of the dumbiest questions I've ever heard.

Look, first of all let me ask you to please stop generalizing Latinos in one category. I myself being a non-mexican Latino don't really give a crap about who the Southwest belongs to.
1) Those who want the Southwest back are of Mexican nationality.
2) Not all Mexicans want the Southwest back.
3) Not all Mexicans are illegals.
