What ever happened to the happy middle? It has been proven through polls that both the extreme left and right are losing votes. The less extreme people in the middle are getting them. Why do we even need political parties? Why can't we vote on the persons' ideas, rather than whether or not they are Republican of Democrat?

BANK TRANSFERS IN DOLLARS BUT WOULD START USING THE EURO.

Is this the tip of the iceburg we have been expecting????

Economist have been saying we are one oil tanker away from the Euro taking over.

The dollar has devalued so much, that it is no longer going to be the Global currency of choice.

As in snow balls and Dominos we can expect a Happy New Year. from our Administration.

Why did George W Bush, current President of USA ask Tony Blair, current Prime Minister of UK to lend him some of the UK's BEST assets to sort his Middle East problems out?

Why Did George W Bush authorise 77% of U.S. troops out of Afghanistan leaving UK and NATO troops dangerously thin on the ground without decent body armour - body armour that will at least stop a small arms bullet from killing a young soldier - to sort his mess out?

Why can't UK troops be issued with proper equipment to get the job completed that the U.S. troops have been withdrawn from?

As a person that just never found interest in alcohol why should i not prefer a country with prohibition being the law of the land.
From what i have read we have been misled by the 20's prohibition as being a failure. It really meant that hospitals had empty beds cause liquor puts people there and on OUR roads it would be great as a non-drinker to not fear you drunk drivers.

so.. does it make sense for me to be PRO prohibition?

"Ya gotta respect a man who's taken more abuse and hatred than any other President, and yet, he's still standing !!!

And still refuses to govern according to the polls !!!
Now that's the definition of a STRONG LEADER !!!"

-A quote from Bottles

Supporting a leader because he won't respond to other people is the dumbest idea I've ever heard. By that logic, one would like Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Pinochet, etc.

I remember catsup being considered a vegetable for school lunches, Old people eating dog food because he cut back social security benefits and actually started taxing them.
Budget cuts on state mental health programs.(CREATING THE HOMELESS) Gratuities being taxed for the first time. Cocain becoming an epidemic. Him saying that he remembered the good old days in America when there were no racial problems. Iran-Contra. Beirute 200 marines killed that congress had demanded come home six weeks before. What do you remember?

The shadow organization bent on conquering the world has completed step 1 and 2 of its 5 step plan.
1) It has manipulated the followers of Islam into believing world conquest is a tenet of their religion. Over decades, a core cadre has been trained in the art of war. Operative cells have been planted in targeted countries waiting to spring into action.
2) The capitalist countries have been plunged into economic depression. The value of the U.S. dollar has collapsed. All investment capital has evaporated leaving the most of the world without the means to arm itself for global warfare.
There now exist a window of opportunity of about two years before the world recovers. This is a crucial time, and step 3 and 4 of your plan will require swift action.
Step 3 in conquering the world:
As a diversion, terrorists cells in Europe and the U.S. go into action, which draws all attention inward in those countries. In Arab countries that support the west, uprising occur and governments are toppled. Uprising occur in Muslim countries with secular government like Turkey and Egypt. A large army moves north out of Iran and is joined by other forces from Azerbaijan and Georgia. They advance on Russia from the south. Forces from Muslim dominated republics of the former Soviet Union advance on Russia from the east. NATO is powerless. With forces of only 500,000, NATO prepares for its own defense.
Russia is crushed, and its weapons arsenal, which includes nuclear weapons, is captured. In the middle-east, the vast wealth of the Arab cartel is seized. An alliance of Muslim nations emerges that spans the Middle-East, Africa, Indochina, eastern Europe, and central Asia.
The stage is now set. The capital and the arms required to mobilize a great army have been acquired. We now prepare for step 4.

I am disabled and cannot drive. I pay most of my nills via bill pay on line...but I have times I need to mail my mail the old fashiond way. Have I been taking for granted that the mail person is supposed (I thought...) to pick up and deliver mail?
If this practice is still being used, (you know... like with the little red flag indicating outgoing mail) my mailbox is a small lockbox type deal, with about 40 others all around it,on the wall. We don't have any red flags, and I've tried to catch the mailperson, to no avale, because it nhot the same carrier everyday. Is there some sort of regulation requiring availabilty on the property, so we can mail our letters? As a homeowner,do I have some way to feel sure, say....that my Medical Insurance Premium is not stolen, but secure with the post person? and I will not lose coverage because of of a late payment? I'm really concerned about this. I have contacted the prop. mgmt. company and they said I should get someone to do it for me. HA!

I like George Bush, and I like most of his policies. However, I respect people who disagree with his policies.

I don't respect the Bush-haters, however. Some of them claim "Bush is the worst President in the history of the nation". And the funny thing is, MOST of these people have only lived through about 3 or 4 presidents!!!!

It's funny how much people know about things that happened before they were born.

Just the fact that he ended terrorist attacks (HOWEVER he did it), should make him at LEAST number 2, don't you think?

I think it's great people like Angelina Jolie and Geroge Clooney get involved but why don't they ever get involved in charity here? What about all the starving children and family's here? Why can't they help them? What makes people in Africa, ect. better than the ones here? What about Katrina victims? What about St. Judes charities? Why don't they adopt children from here? Why do all the celebrities adopt children from from other countries? Why not America?

I'm seeing a lot of post where people are saying that illegal immigrants want to come here because they want a better life and how would we feel if we were in their situation. I want to ask them, why are we expected to care? Why should we deal with Mexico's problems? America has their own set of problems to worry about and I think it's time to just give them the cold shoulder, what do you think?

PS: These immigrants from Mexico are in no way living as poorly as the poor people in Africa.

Recently, a Comcast subcontractor cable guy killed two women (allegedly) while on routine installation calls. Of course the cable guy will be prosecuted, but is Comcast in any way responsible LEGALLY, either criminally or civil? I'm asking strictly about what the law says, not personal opinion.

I keep on reading more and more about how underage drinking is a big problem in this country. However on a night out recently, all of my group were aged between 24 and 28 i.e 6-10 years older than the legal age, and all of us got asked for id to proove we were over 18 during the night out. Further to that, I know plenty of people in their mid-late 20s who still get asked. Yet these same places are known to be serving 16 year olds. I admit I was once an underage drinker myself but that begs the question how did I manage to get a drink in the pub when I was 15 but could have potentially been refused had I got no ID now. In addition, i never got asked for ID when I was 18,19 or 20(I wanted to because I could proove my age by then)then since turning 21 it has started happening. On that basis and from personal experience, are they just cracking down on people blatently old enough and letting the younsters in on purpose or do pub workers really think 20 somthings look younger than 16 year olds

My daughters boyfriend and father of my grandson was recently deported to Mexico. He was not born here, but has lived his entire life here in AZ. He has gone to school, graduated and worked to support his family. Unforunately he never followed the proper channels to get his residency like he should have, now what do we do. My daughter has taken my grandson to Mexico and I want them back here. There living conditions are terrible.
