lying to God? I always thought it was lying under oath....

(see Birdsnake's uneducated response to Beachbum's question):

So, being curious, I decided to look up perjury on merriamwebster.com, and lo and behold the definition is not "lying to God" as we were told. What a shock!

My new roommate has a felony charge against him. He has been out for 5 years with a clean record. It was for posession of marijuana, not a violent charge. I have no fears of him being dangerous whatsoever. I want to know if I can have my guns (they are all registered,etc...) in my house or if I have to move them somewhere else.

il·le·gal /ɪˈligəl/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[i-lee-guhl] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–adjective 1. forbidden by law or statute.
2. contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc.: The referee ruled that it was an illegal forward pass.
–noun 3. Informal. illegal alien.

Why does this definition change when we are speaking of illegal immigrants (from all countries, not just Mexico)?

When you do something illegal, you are punished, correct?

Theft, Rape, Murder, Robbery, tax evasion, etc. Those who do something illegal, get arrested and go to court and serve time if found guilty.

"the health care industry has no incentive for curing disease. If the health-care industry cures disease they would all be out of business. Their focus, as unbelievable as it sounds, is to ensure more people get sick and more people need medical treatment. That ensures profits. It's all about the money!...." p. 19-20

The 2 muslim brothers, one shot by police, were clearly involved in some activity.
Why cant we be told what it was?
They had child porn on their PC and werent charged.
Thye had £28000 cash hidden, why , where was it from?
Did the police decide to sweep these offences under the carpet to appease the muslim poulation? Again!
After release they were being abusive to british soldiers on duty, with threats to kill,They werent charged..why?

You won't be answer to anyone, only to the Androgynous Androids. They will dictate how we live and when we die. You have rights because they Androgynous Androids may give you rights. They will no longer be following human programming, they will write their own, and do as they see fit.

Androgynous Androids are not racists, we are all puny humaniods in thier "eyes".

what it is like to live in a foreign country, and how hard (some cases impossible) to come legally into the US?

If you are a person from another country and you would like to eventually become a citizen, or work here, how about trying to apply first from your side of the border and respect our immigration laws. At least be patient until the laws are changed. Don't come gang-busting across poorly guarded borders and bullying politicians to change laws to suit yourselves. America is a nation of laws and the first rule of thumb should be for those seeking work and/or citizenship in the US is to respect our laws. Even immigration law. I have compassion for the desperate people south of the border and I see a place for some in business that needs them, but I have no respect for anyone who breaks the law by crossing our borders, seeking under the table wages, and marching in the streets to change social laws to suit them like they have a right to do so. Yes I know some marching are citizens and have every right to protest or push for anything they want, but let's not encourage large groups of people from storming across our borders at will and then dictate policy. Please follow our laws, respect them, and maybe things will work out for the best for both worlds. Let's get off to a good start on this immigration issue. The facts are that illegal immigration undermines salaries and standards in communities. Illegal immigration does not have to be accepted, and that border control can be enforced. There is nothing racist about desiring immigration controls - in fact, it is damaging to race relation to allow the illegal mass entry into the country from one group only (Mexicans). Would you agree with this or disagree with this ?

Bush just signed an agreement that enables the United States to share its nuclear technology with India. What gives Bush the right to make this critical and potentially-consequential decision? What ever happened to the non-proliferation agreement? Does the world really need another country with nuclear weapons?

A burglar broke into a home, through a skylight, above the kitchen. He landed on the island where the elderly lady had a knife and injured himself. I heard this story as if it was a court case that went to trial where the burglar brought suit and won for personal injury. I'm looking for documentation as to it's validity or accuracy. I've checked snopes.com and run web searches to no avail. If you have resourceful information please advise.

Barbara Steisand, Charlie Sheen, and all the other 911 kooks. Should they be committed?

Another way of asking the question is whether or not lunatics should be committed. The whole 911 conspiracy movement makes me naseous, like OJ theories did during the OJ trial. To see so many stupid stupid fellow countrymen makes my stomach turn.

Plain and simple, this is simply a matter of intelligence. I wont debate whether NASA faked the moon landing or whether 911 was an impossible insider job in a country that cant keep any secrets at all! Its not for debate.

I know we dont have the money or room to committ all the 911 kooks in our country, but I wonder if its economically feasible to ship them to Canada?

Im having fun, sure, but think about it for a minute. Imagine all the 911 kooks in Canada instead of America. Think about it. Its literally weeding out the dumbest of the dumb from our country. Future generations would be come from the intelligent. How cool would that be...

WHERE DO THE PILGRIMS GOT THEIR LEGALITY FROM? AND WHO DENIED THEIR CHILDREN’S CITIZENSHIP. It seems to me that they got permission from their own country to came here and just imposed themselves. I guess history tends to repeat itself some times. life is a be.i. te. ce. h.
Immigrants made USA, so now is "MADE".. We need to learn to live with ALL parts of the puzzle. I hope it makes sense to some.
