The most humane method is probably beheading. Quick and gets the job done.

-Lethal injection is not humane. The second drug administered is a muscle relaxer (pancuronium bromide) that paralysis the lungs, preventing the inmate from breathing. It is not until the third drug that the inmate is killed (stops the heart). It has been proven that the inmate can feel intense pain during the execution.

-If the neck/spine is not "snapped" during a hanging, the person will be slowly stranguled.

-Electricution by use of the electric chair often takes longer than expected, and can result in various organs--literally--exploding. Some inmates have also caught fire while being executed.

-Firing squads do not always kill on the first few shots.

-Gasing causes violent spasms, vomitting, gasping, and the inmate does not die right away. Many times, the conductors of the execution have cleared the chamber before the inmate was dead, elongating the suffering.

Actually good old fashioned hanging is pretty quick and humane... about 10-15 seconds from when the executioner enters the condemmed cell to the moment of death, if it's done right.

Personally I see no reason why execution should be humane - I doubt whether many murderers kill their victims humanely and as a consequence have no right to expect any different in return.

Lethal injection. All the other forms of execution are said to be inhumane because they don't immediately kill the person. The electric chair took about 1 minute to completely fry the brain, hangings took anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes depending on how the person fell, stoning was stopped years ago because it took way to long to bash the person's skull open and actually kill him. The "firing squad" is still done in some states, but most states find it repulsive and too messy. There are, however, some states that still kill people with electrocution, lethal gas, the firing squad, and hangings. It just depends on the state. But over all, lethal injection is the most humane way to execute someone.

I would say that gas or a lethal shot would be best, supposedly no pain is felt, so the murderer actually experiences a better death than most of us will. They will not suffer through cancer, die a painful death in an auto accident, or feel the pain of a murder’s knife or bullet. Anyone who kills is a menace to society. The point is not if he or she deserves to live, it's that this person shouldn't be roaming the streets, nor wasting taxpayers' money in overcrowded jails. These people have given up their membership card to the human race.

Yeah I have been choked out before not from air but blood, a blood choke. I remember dancing after this happened and things being peaceful. I only woke up later and didnt know what happened for about 30 minutes until I pieced it together. I think I could have died right there and been happy before it was done.

To shoot them in the back of the head when they are not expecting it. With the right ordinance this is instantaneously fatal. The victim is drt (Dead Right There) lights out, period. It is a method commonly used in China. Then they bill the victim's family for the bullet.

I believe that strapping them to a table. that will be inserted into a burning fire that will cremate them alive and awake would be best to give them a proper feeling for there expected ride to hell.I have had two Friends murdered and they only got thirty years a piece.Much more people should be sentenced to death.Jail is to good for them. The punishment should fit the crime.solitary is what most people should get.with no entertainment

Personnally I would prefer if it were not humane.

Drug a meal (unknown to murderer) to put them to sleep then administer a lethal injection.

Pour honey on their head and scalp and bury them in sand up to their neck near an anthill.

May not be humane but it's justified.

The same way they killed their victims. Thats how it should be done. But the most humane is the lethal injection.
