That depends on your classification of black man. I have read that Abraham Lincoln was America's first black president. The claim was that:
1. A person is legally considered black if they can trace their genealogy to any black person.
2. Abraham Lincoln had an ancestor (great grandfather or such) that was black.
I think I have also heard claim 1 from other sources. I haven't researched his genealogy and therefore cannot confirm claim 2.
Anyway, if those claims are both true then arguably America's best president was black.

I can't imagine the fit some people would throw if a black female was elected president.
We've only had white males as presidents in the US.

lol it has been said by many black leaders who believed Clinton's lies about walking through Harlem as a boy and crowned him the first black president. But no real black person has yet. But if the repo's don't get their heads out of their azzes don't be surprised if Obama is the first.
