A North Carolina woman was arrested after complaining to a police officer that the crack cocaine she had just purchased wasn't very good, authorities said.

Eloise D. Reaves, 50, approached the Putnam County sheriff's deputy at a convenience store Friday, telling him that another man had sold her "bad crack" that contained wax and cocaine.

She pulled an alleged crack rock out of her mouth and placed it on the deputy's car for inspection, the Palatka Daily News reported for Tuesday editions.

The deputy told Reaves that she would be arrested if the crack tested positive for cocaine.

She was charged with possession of cocaine and bonded out for $1,504.

Heres the deal. Has there been any recent changes to social security benefits that now say a child 16 years of age or older who has previously been collecting benefits from a deceased step father will no longer be able to receive benefits. According to information I have received they are still eligible until age 18 or even 19 if they are still in high school. Does anybody know how to research this or do you know from personal experience?

DH and I are in our 30's and DH mother died 12 years ago. BIL stayed with the man she was married to because he did not want to submit to DNA and family was told that OK law stated he was the father bc he resided with the mother and son for two years and did not have to DNA test. Fast forward to now and 14 year old wants to leave his father and live with us, can the 14 year old decide who to live with? We are contacting a lawyer, but with the holidays and state lines to consider(we live in Missouri)we aren't getting much from the lawyers for now.

I am thinking about going to college and starting off as an officer or I'll continue to live as a civilian. Please be descriptive and compare the two services to each other and civilian life. And tell me which service is best for someone who wants to be an aerospace engineer or physicist, which service travels the world more often, which one promotes faster(I want to make admiral/general someday), an if you have been in one of the two describe what the experience.

5 bulgarian nurses and a bulgarian doctor have been sentenced to death for purposely infecting over 400 small children with HIV. the EU and the US are both condemning libya for being "too harsh" and saying the death penalty is "unwarranted."

in my personal opinion, i cannot think of another crime MORE deserving of the death penalty.

what do you think?

(note: nothing would make me happier than to find out it was all an accident, and these nurses did NOT do this on purpose. i hate to think there are people capable of such a horror. so, i am NOT debating whether they are guilty or not. what i am asking is, if they DID do this, do you feel they deserve to die?)

How many of you are War Strategists ? Hmmmm!!

Obviously you know where I'm going with this and I think it's a LEGITIMATE question !!
Since when do you have access to 'secret' or 'inside' info ? Since when are you QUALIFIED to GRADE our Military's Success or failure ? And since when are you in a position to even know what the hell is going on behind the scenes ?

Yet sooo many of you are 'oh so quick to JUDGE' !!!
As an experienced military veteran, and a former holder of a 'Top Secret' clearance. . .. .. . .I can tell you that many, many things are going on behind the scenes as always and neither you nor I have any idea of what they are !!

Often, I see people use the Soviet Union as an example of how communism failed. That was totalitarianism. You must understand the true theory. Marx wrote that in the true model, the state fades away. In the purest form, small communes are what it is about. And out of necessity, humans may have to resort to that in the future. It isn't over.

I whent to the store when I was leaving the store there was a cop parked in the lot he looked at me then left as I left I got a little ways down the road when I saw the cop agin this time he was pulling behind me frome a side street he turend on his lights I stoped at a red light on green I proseeded to turn when I was turning a car came out a driveway and allmost hit me head on I stoped to avoid the car while stoped I stuck my head out the window & asked the cop if he whanted me to pullover he said yes when I pulled over him and his partner exited there car they placed there hands on there guns told me to put my hands out the windo and then asked me to exit the car without even asking for consent they serched the car and me they found a joint & pipe I was arested for two misdomeners they stated they pulled me over for speeding but I never receved a ticket or any type of veical violashon.(I beleav they stoped me because they stareotyped me to be a gang member) I have cort on 12/27/06.

How can we get that to stop. Is there a group of people trying to get that off the books. It's not a fair law. If a person comments a falony, thats strike 1 if he comments another falony thats strike 2 and if he comments another thats strike 3. Well here's the thing the law did wrong. When the people voteing for the law, the understanding was if a person comments a hard core crime like rape, armed robbey, etc.. crimes like that, that person will get a strike. Not for selling a car or intent to bring in someone house, but never did. Why did we allow the goverment to lie to us in they got away with it for this long.My question is, is any one doing something about it? If so please give me the information.
