I whent to the store when I was leaving the store there was a cop parked in the lot he looked at me then left as I left I got a little ways down the road when I saw the cop agin this time he was pulling behind me frome a side street he turend on his lights I stoped at a red light on green I proseeded to turn when I was turning a car came out a driveway and allmost hit me head on I stoped to avoid the car while stoped I stuck my head out the window & asked the cop if he whanted me to pullover he said yes when I pulled over him and his partner exited there car they placed there hands on there guns told me to put my hands out the windo and then asked me to exit the car without even asking for consent they serched the car and me they found a joint & pipe I was arested for two misdomeners they stated they pulled me over for speeding but I never receved a ticket or any type of veical violashon.(I beleav they stoped me because they stareotyped me to be a gang member) I have cort on 12/27/06.

Well, you might be able to argue you weren't speeding, and therefore there wasn't a reason to stop you - but you'll have to go to court to deal with this. Since they didn't issue a speeding ticket, I think that might work.
If they had reasonable cause to stop you, they could look inside the car, but not in the trunk - unless you gave them permission to look there; if they didn't have a valid reason to stop you, then what they found in the car can't be used against you.
Get a lawyer.

you plead not guilty to the ticket and state why when you go to court. and weather or not you were stopped for speeding the arrest was justified cause you were in possession.
stereo typing is a weak *** excuse for getting caught. We all use stereotyping every day. When your in a parking lot and need directions, you stereotype the people around you to get an idea of who to ask, or when you need a light for you cigarette you look for the stereotype "smoker" to bum a light.
So, if you don't like being stereotyped as a gang member, take a long look in the mirror then do something about it.

What are you mad about? You had drugs in your vehicle. You wouldn't be going to court for anything if you followed the law like a good citizen. Whether you were speeding or not, you got caught. The cops might have let the speeding go since they got you on drug possession. Give it up and take your punishment for doing wrong.

First of all, we only have your version of things. Now we need to hear from the policemen. It sounds as if you're using your ethnicity (or looks) as an excuse to do what you like & then yell profiling when you get caught. If the story you just told is absolutely true, then you need to get a lawyer & fight this legally. I am not trying to put you down, just telling you what it all sounds like to me.

Good Luck with court and please from now on use that little "Check spelling " directive from now on . As far as probable cause to pull you over , it don't take much . Only suspicion is cause enough . Be happy you only got charged with a misdemeanor for possesion .

you where looking for dope in a area where dope is sold a lot am i right? and they had probable cause to search your car. they found a joint and a pipe hmmm??/
