Perception.
When it comes down to it I don't think anyone could dispute the fact there are more democrats who feel they are victims of government or society. The heart of Republican ideology is that all people should be individually accountable for their own acts. Objectively, from what I see, there are more negative questions/talk about conservatives than there are about liberals. I say this as a democrat; just what I see. We all need to stop worrying about what the other party is or isn't doing and worry about the American people.
