My daughters boyfriend and father of my grandson was recently deported to Mexico. He was not born here, but has lived his entire life here in AZ. He has gone to school, graduated and worked to support his family. Unforunately he never followed the proper channels to get his residency like he should have, now what do we do. My daughter has taken my grandson to Mexico and I want them back here. There living conditions are terrible.

They should get married and he might have a chance to get back to the US. He could also get amnesty, which is US Citizenship for those who have lived in the states for a certain amount of time. You should get a lawyer's consultation...

Did he do something bad and get arrested? The only cases I know of this happening is when the person breaks the law. I know of a similar case where a family member of mine never bothered getting her green card renewed, immigration won't let her leave the USA. When someone gets deported, they cannot re-enter the USA legally for the next 10 years.

They could get married and since he is already in Mexico start the paperwork for residency. The only problem is it will be a long expensive journey. I would recommend consulting an immigration lawyer.

What did he get deported for? Obviously they didn't wake him up in the middle of the night and take him . Every case is different and whatever his circumstances are , will determine his ability to return here. Hopefully your daughter will return here and lay the groundwork for his reentry. People don't realize that this is happening quite often now . good luck

My goodness, what offense did he commit. It must be awful
cause no one ever gets deported to Mexico. It is difficult
to get into the county if he has been deported.

Had they gotten married he would be legal. Why not get married now? I feel for him but if he or his parents never made the move to become legal - they broke the laws and deportation is the price they paid. They gambled that they would never be caught and they lost.
