I like George Bush, and I like most of his policies. However, I respect people who disagree with his policies.

I don't respect the Bush-haters, however. Some of them claim "Bush is the worst President in the history of the nation". And the funny thing is, MOST of these people have only lived through about 3 or 4 presidents!!!!

It's funny how much people know about things that happened before they were born.

Just the fact that he ended terrorist attacks (HOWEVER he did it), should make him at LEAST number 2, don't you think?

no matter what Bush does it would be wrong. If he found a cure for cancer the libs would say it is too late lol. I am amazed how the libs in power relentless attacks no matter how unfounded by facts only oppinons have worked on some in this country. I am ashamed of the democratic party and the fact that I at one time was a member. I won't even attempt to argue with them they are only interested in showing their emotinons and facts just confuse them. We will see how great a job your majority in congress will do. I cringe at Polici having any power at all. But it should be interesting to say the least.

i'm less than 17, yet all of my kin participants that would vote (customarily 31 and older, i'm the youngest by technique of plenty) are assisting Obama. i have not in any respect met a McCain supporter that isn't coated in gray hair and staring at 20 more beneficial years of living on the most. Why? They discern they received't be round as lengthy to work out the impacts of ways McSame will screw up the country with not in any respect-ending conflict.

Anyone over thirty five who doesn't think Jimmy Carter was the worst president of the last sixty years must have rode the short bus to school. Not that Bush has been that great but at least there isn't double digit inflation, unemployment and interest rates as there was under Carter. Gas lines,Iran making us look like fools, the military being cut to dangerous levels and on and on.

So how many Presidents have you lived through? I am in my 40s and I say George W Bush IS THE WORST President we have had in this country. He takes the trophy because of his bungled attempt to mislead this country into the war in Iraq, not finding Osama Bin Ladin and not even trying realistically, for the way he dropped the ball on the Katrina disaster, for the way he preaches faith based Christian values from one side of his mourth and hate and discrimination from the other side, because of his you're with us or against us policies overseas which have isolated our country and made us even more hated than we were before, for the way he uses (abuses) the English language, for being out of touch with the will of the people, for promoting an agenda of a select few, for his patriot act which was enacted at a time of fear and stripped away many of our Constitutional rights, for not stoppping 9/11 when he had all the warnings that it would happen, for using terror as a way to keep taking away our freedoms, for promoting freedom and liberty abroad but curtailing freedom and liberty at home, for his immigration reform that has done nothing, for raising our debt so high that generations of the future will still be paying for his mistakes, etc etc etc.

Stopped terrorist attacks? I have never heard anything so gulliable and uninformed as that. Listen to the National News, terrorist attacks happen on a nearly daily basis in countries such as Isreal, Indonesia, Iraq, Bali, and Europe. Do you honestly think that they won't strike America again because of something GW did?! They are attacking our interests overseas, only because it's easier and they don't need to travel across the world to attack America. Our airport securtity and Port Security have so many holes in them, it would not take a person with much know how to break through and exploit those holes.

What is it exactly that you like about GW and his policies? You are blinded by his so-called Faith Based Initiatives and his rhetoric that you can see beyond the empty words he uses when he evades answering any questions. Do you like his Stay the Course policy in Iraq which hasn't worked, isn't working and won't work. It just keeps us there and keeps our good men and women getting killed. Do you like how he will not talk to country to negotiate and only makes demands in the name of democracy? This just makes them see us as arrogant fools. Please give me specific examples of how Bush has helped this country. Helped meaning to further advance our culture and rights, create a stable global economy, preserve Human Rights, use our strengths as an example of good things that democracy does, promotes freedom and liberty for all Americans regardless of creed or sexual identity or religion or beliefs or national origin. Please I am all ears.

I am over 35 years old and I think he is the worst president ever. He didn't end terrorist attacks, they are still happening to our troops EVERY DAY! In fact he has put America more at risk with his arrogant global scale bullying! But to be honest, you can be 10 years old and still think Bush is the worst President ever, you need only look thru news reels , watch presidential biographies and pay attention in history class to see this.

I am 26, and I've studied history independently since I was about six. I've been watching politics since I was seven. I have found that while Bush isn't the BEST president, he's certainly not the worst either.
Let's see, just to name a few who are worse:
Harding, whose scandals and policies led to the Great Depression.
Coolidge, who continued Harding's "legacy."
Nixon. I don't think I need to add to that.
Carter, whose weak foreign policy led us to where we are now.
Clinton, who continued the trend of weak foreign policy.

I disagree that it's people under 20 who generally believe Bush to be the worst president ever. Actually, I wonder how many of those who believe that are children of baby boomers.
There are things I don't like about Bush. His press staff is horrible (he made AWFUL choices), he hasn't handled either war as well as they could have been handled (not completely his fault though), he's too liberal on spending, and he completely screwed up with illegal immigration.
Worst president ever? Not even close.

It is not funny and you are wrong. Most of the people who dislike Bush are OVER 20 and have a better grasp of the facts than you do. Isn't it funny that the FAA air trafic controlers and NORAD who both perform exercises to respond to attacks like the famous one all behaved like the keystone cops. Why is it the we have not properly investigated how and why our defenses failed?
If I paid poeple lots of money to protect my assets and they dropped the ball I would sue them or at least fire them and hire new people. Why has that not happened? Why are we not allowed to ask for better answers to what the F happened that day? I hope some day you see the light or hear the pop.

I'm 31 and have access to not only a library, but a wealth of information on the internet. I have been alive since Ford, so I can say that, at least in that run, Bush 2 is the worst of the bunch.

The english would probably dispute your claim that he ended terrorism.

I'm over 20 and I've lived through more than "3 or 4 presidents" I can say with certainty that George W Bush will be remembered in history as the least popular and most hated President in the history of our nation. He is the scourge of America, and the scourge of mankind itself. I would place him well above Richard Nixon in the damage he has done to this country.

George W Bush is not only despised in this country, but on a global scale. It would be difficult for any one man to cause as much harm to the country and to the world as this demigod has caused.
