I have called my Congressmen and Senators to tell them I hate wasteful spending and I get a polite THANK YOU for your concern letter from them.

I do not vote for them but other people do.

Do we just have to sit back and take this?

I have to this presentation on how a bill gets passed. I chose HR 4437(immigration bill that caused nationwide protests). in that legislation there was S6211. what does S6211 mean is it a new bill different from HR 4437. I know it deals with the senate. also, does HR 4437 means that it came from the Senate or the house. since the bill is assigned a number and sponr's name.? I need help please!!

I mean look at the goverment and bush and the whole war, that government sucks, america is the richest and most powerful country yet has like the worst poverty rates for an MEDC, it shows how selfish the rich are there, people will say "9/11 wasn't self inflicted, the goverment wouldn't do such a thing" but yes thats how corrupt it is, WAKE UP and face reality, that government doesn't care about human life in WTC, $$$ and thats it. The american goverment are nothing but a bunch of selfish corrupt pigs, thankfully, lots of americans dislike it, the whole war is a flop, its all about money, do you honestly think they give two sh!ts about safety of american lives, jesus when will some people learn.

Generations of welfare, hand outs, free meals, free tuition, free boys and girls clubs, after school programs, etc. hasn't solved the problem of the poor.
They are still killing, stealing, not getting married but procreating, dealing drugs and not getting honest jobs at an alarming rate.

WHAT is the answer - how do we help - WITHOUT throwing more money at them?

My mom which is a green card holder (she is about to be a citizen) appled for me back in 2002. i already got approved. but I am about to trun 21 on Jan. 7, 2007. What should i do? Am I going to be to old for this case? do i have to wait for the visa update? (which is about a month away from my date)

I had my wisdom teeth removed and she was horrible to me while I was in the healing process so I went off on her after she did this to me. Then she bypassed my birthday. Then she bypassed me again on letting me work to get over time by letting her favorites work instead. I bought her a swan oranment and a card and some nice christmas cookies. So she bought me a CD and a snow globe. So after the way she treated me do I or do I not give her something than what I gave her and why?

The US is trying to implement democracy in the middle east. However, history shows us that democracy in highly stratified religious communities (ie- lebanon and iraq) leads to instability.

What do you recommend instead? benevolent monarchy? politburo of technocrats?? Im from the arab world and just want to get a variety of opinions on the subject...

I have been violated and now must go to court on the 3rd of Jan. My probation officer said that as long as I meet my probations requirements and have everything documented then all I have to do is show up for court. She mentions something along the lines of cancelling my probation on that court date. I shuttered when she told me that I HAD to go to court. I am now nervous and want to get a lawyer her in Manatee county, Florida. I have $500,is that even enough money? Help me please and thanx!

Takes Libya off US sanctions,supports UN lifting sanctions and takes them off the State dept list for Terrorism?....WHY?

So they "said" they would no longer pursue WMD.....but does that in any way mean they're not still terrorists?.....What about Lockerbie?

Part of the deal in the settlement re: Lockerbie was that they would get the money ONLY if US would drop sanctions,UN drop it's sanctions and they were removed from the State Dept list.

All were done.....isn't that "negotiating"?
