Is it possible for India and Pakistan to reunite in the future? Would powers like US and China ever let this happen if India and Pakistan were to consider it?

Jimmy Carter is being bombarded with negativity over his new book "Palestine, Peace Not Apartheid." I know Jimmy Carter to be a Pioneer when it comes to world peace as he has on countless occasions been a great diplomat in the past. He speaks the truth in his book and his characterizations are not far fetched. Yet his new book is being received with negative comments and plenty of disrespect. Is it wrong to speak with criticism against Israel even when you speak the truth?

Terrorism is an awful thing but is it as bad as we all think? I mean far more people die in car accidents, MURDERS, disease and homelessness. Aren't the Government kinda terrorists when they let homeless peopel starve on the street and when they let people starve in Africa. Britain has killed far more innocent people than any terrorist organisation I've ever heard of. And don't even get me started on America and Israel.

"Under the U.S. wet-foot, dry-foot policy, Cubans who reach U.S. soil are normally allowed to stay, while those caught at sea are usually returned home." - I see this on CNN and you hear of the cubans who land on the beach and allowed to stay. Then you hear of immigrations hunting down illegal immigrants in the USA. Those who are "LIVING HERE" on us soil. I don't understand how it works, if they can hunt those who are already living here, how come if they come on boat and they land on soil they are not automatcially deported?

...be restored?....I think that prisons are too much of an easy option-pool tables, colour TVs,gyms, available tobacco and drugs, nice meals..no wonder offenders re-offend they don't mind going back.If prisons were made more horrible prisoners would try their best not to have to return . The death penalty should be restored for murders that have been proven beyond doubt...(eg,caught red-handed ).The cane should be restored in schools..I never was caned but I knew that if I was bad that I could get it.Kids nowadays know that no matter what they do teachers can't lay a finger on them and take delight in telling them so..Can't touch me...I'll sue you!!Of course we must not allow children to be abused but common sense should allow us to know the difference! Do you agree or am I the only one who thinks like this?

If i got an army Rotc scholarship, it would pay for my entire college tuition for 4 years. However, I would then owe the military 4 years in either the active duty army, the army national guard, or the army reserve. Out of the guard and the reserve, which one would most likely send me overseas to fight and or live?

for all of you telling me to learn the language and go back to my country, this is my country i am NATIVE AMERICAN! how dare you people complain about people of which you know nothing about. if the case is to get rid of all illegals than maybe we should bring back the mayflower don't you think? don't say anyone came here legally because killing people to make something your is not legal in any country in any part of the world! you people should be embarrassed at what you do to immigrants in this country. weather you like it or not, this country is what it is today THANKS to Illegal immigrants! especially mexicans because they do al the hard work "americans" are too lazy to do.

Here i am again thanks for your answers the ones that were useful were good the others made me laugh as some people are just like i sed.. brain dead. Anyway the thing is i went to the police station with my neighbour he was fully comp but un be known to him.. cos it didnt actually state on his insurance policy that he could drive other cars third party he wasnt infact insured. I live away from my home town due to my job so the amount of people i can ask are limited as i am new here. but the people i do know whom i have asked are all insured fully comp but none of their insurances cover them to drive any other car. So it will mean asking someone from home to drive 120 miles to do it.. when the law says im legal anyway. I asked the police to check with dvla that i had a licence but they said "sorry we dont deal direct with them" (only wen it suits to their own advantage)...That is law and justice for u. I want to know if the law accepts im legal then y r the police allowed to do this

I have changed my door locks to my house. My estranged father who no longer lives with me, but still owns the house, wants a copy. However I don't want to, as I suspect that he has been through my papers. As a software engineer I know how easy it is to steal a persons identity. However, I have no proof of this but I have grounds to suspect as he has already done so with my mothers personal papers. Also I have a gut feeling about it. So if I don't give him the key what is the worst he can do to me legally? And what would be my best defense?
