I sure wish they would. The laws don't stop anybody from using ( I don't by the way but that is my personal choice not fear of the law) but costs tax dollars to enforce, prosecute, and confine users. The illegality of banned substances are was cause them to be very profitable and that alone increases the violence associated with the drug world. It would be much better to sell and tax them legally and offer free or low cost counseling for people to quit if they become dependent on them. The present system is costing way too much with drug use continuing unchecked. My personal opinion is that this country will continue to do more of what already doesn't work

I personally don't think all drugs should be legalized, b/c some are simply way to dangerous and addicting (heroine, meth, cocaine). I do think that marijuana should be legalized, so law enforcement can spend $$$ on keeping the hard drugs off the streets. Plus, they can tax the hell out of it and pay of our national debt. I think marijuana is MUCH better for you than drinking anyways.

Never happen. The C.I.A. is bringing in too much money from them the way things are. Which feeds the Dow, to keep it artificially inflated.
