It is against the interest of Anglo American Alliance,Brahmin's lobby,Right wing Islamic Parties and Militants both in India and Pakistan. But who knows/The world politics is changing so fast.Who could have thought 50 years back that Europe will one day form a Union. It is very much possible educated people in both countries will not mind.

Pakistan began the conflict with India and Pakistan misplaced the conflict. the suitable answer for Pakistan to maintain its delight is to get Kashmir interior the map of Pakistan. the only answer to be certain the conflict between Pak-Ind, carry the Pakistan government to a worldwide trial. Pakistan has a history of friendship with taliban and different worldwide terrorist, Pakistan have been to blame for the depressing years the Indian public have been dealing with jointly with random bombs, random coupes, random wars. The terorist in Kashmir and India is from Pakistan sent by using the government, even whilst proofs the place amassed and sent to the united countries, the american puppet Pakistan have been given sparkling consequences keeping a unsufficient information. We merely wish everybody minds their very own agency and not intrude. Intervention creates extensive massacare like in Somalia, Iraq, Afganistan, Congo, Chech, and so on...

First of all, my condolences to yupchagee and Gary F for being so narrow-minded. I think it is people like you who are the real root of problems in this world. May be if everyone considered optimism a possibility, we wouldn't be in such a situation!
To asker: As long as India and Pakistan have Kashmir between them, they won't get along. Someone has got to let Kashmir be an independent state. Combine Jammu Kashmir and Azad Kashmir, to be just Kashmir. I think they people there are tired of both Pakistan and India. I am pretty sure they want to be left alone.
And to the person who mentioned about the Iraq Civil war situation. Iraq has been in turmoil for a long time. Tensions are obviously going to grow when you have got dictators like Saddam and then the U.S forced democracy. Obviously, they were worried about who is going to run the country. When all your leaders are flops, then tensions are bound to grow.
Use your brain to be the intelligent human you are suppose to be.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gary: I never mentioned anything about Pervez. This is about Kashmir, about which i have mentioned my views. But since you brought it up, yes, Pervez will be a target of assassinations since his role in the War on Terrorism, and his stance on Woman rights. He has changed the Sharia law rulings in favor of women, and the radicals are boiling.
And if you are talking about the nuclear proliferation, then yes, it did happen. Just like US supplying to the Talibans to serve calm down their own fears of USSR.
And I didn't say that you and yupchagee shared the same view. I thought both of your responses were ignorant. And i still hold the view that yupchagee response is such. Since Pakistan being an Islamic Republic has got nothing to do with India and Pakistan's Kashmir problem. Would Kashmir's dispute be solved if Pakistan was a Christian democracy? A communist state? How about a Monarchy? I don't think so.

Do you think the S'hia, Sunni, and Kurds will all join together and sing 'Give Pace a Chance'? Israel and Palestine will work out their problems before India and Pakistan, especially after Pakistan becomes an 'official' terrorist state when the military takes over the government.
************************
worries -
Pervez Musharraf has already survived a half dozen assassination attempts. Radical Islamists control the military and represent the majority view of the population. Pakistan is the one who provided terrorists with nuclear technology and intelligence. Pakistan houses Osama Bin-Laden (in fact he was there receiving dialysis treatment when 9/11 took place).
Optimism – you mean like Bush’s optimism that things are just swell in Iraq?
Finally, I can assure you that yupchagee’s and my views are as different as any two people who have ever answered a question on this site. But, he is not stupid and he is right about this. Get your head out of the sand.

If people see beyond the lies they were told India could be united and restored to its former greatness. I don't know if this is possible. It is not in anyone's best interest on the political scene, and therefore is probably unrealistic unless you could create social change on a personal level. It has happened before but we don't have any uniting figures to stand behind.
