I have called my Congressmen and Senators to tell them I hate wasteful spending and I get a polite THANK YOU for your concern letter from them.
I do not vote for them but other people do.
Do we just have to sit back and take this?

Your taxes don't pay for today's government services.
Your taxes are paying back loans taken out by the Johnson administration for the Vietnam war, or maybe Korea. Possibly even WWII.
Your children's grandchildren will be paying for the Gulf war and today's government waste.

We stop re-electing incumbents who have continued the cycle of spend, tax, spend borrow, spend. This goes for BOTH parties.
Really, we must demand term limits. We must demand a balanced budget. We must demand an end to PACs and lobbyists. In a Republic, sovereignty rests with the people. We, the people, must demand that our Congress represent OUR will, not the will of big business, labour unions or the military.

Answer from Joe Kwok Sing Wong. Back in 1976, the U.S. government set up telephone hot lines for people to call in for government waste and fraud. We can ask the U.S. government to set up the telephone hot lines again. I was the one who made the suggestion of Document Control when I was working for the U.S. Air Force Accounting And Finance Center in Denver Colorado from 1974 to 1975., All government documents have to be listed in computers so that if people steal or destroy government documents , we can find out from the computer.. The CIA enforced it to all branches of the U.S. government and all NATO countries. Document Control made it impossible to destroy evidence. Resulting in 330 U.S. government people were convicted of fraud and 270 of them were sent to jails. I was a hero in 1976. The CBS 60 Minute had a report on me in 1976. ur tax dollars pay the interest on the national debt directly to the federal reserve bank ... they dont fund the govt ... i can see wanting the govt to be honest and not waste money because u figure theyre wasting ur taxes but the fact of the matter is the only reason u pay income tax is because of an illegal act of congress in 1913 giving a monopoly to the federal reserve over printing money and controlling its supply and related legislation that guarantees all loans made to the US govt are backed by ur taxes ... so its a no-win situation ... the bank makes more money if the govt wastes more ...

The control of money is power. Politicians spend tax money to buy votes in elections. There is no incentive to save or be frugal. If there were a way to get politicians under control, it would have been done hundreds of years ago.

I will say one thing. I am a good Republican but there is one thing I can not stand and that is pork barrel spending. Both parties are guilty of it including mine and I am fed up with it. Part of the problem is that the people who elect their congressman expect them to bring money to their districts and states so it is like a kid in a candy store. My party needs to get back to what got them elected to begin with. CUT SPENDING!

We have to stop voting for the Democrat/Liberals. Watch and see what's going to happend with the 12+ millions illegals here in the USA. The Democrats/Liberals are going to give them amnesty, and that's a mistake.
