Why is America so corrupt?

I mean look at the goverment and bush and the whole war, that government sucks, america is the richest and most powerful country yet has like the worst poverty rates for an MEDC, it shows how selfish the rich are there, people will say "9/11 wasn't self inflicted, the goverment wouldn't do such a thing" but yes thats how corrupt it is, WAKE UP and face reality, that government doesn't care about human life in WTC, $$$ and thats it. The american goverment are nothing but a bunch of selfish corrupt pigs, thankfully, lots of americans dislike it, the whole war is a flop, its all about money, do you honestly think they give two sh!ts about safety of american lives, jesus when will some people learn.

what made me realise how little the American government cares about the ordinary people there were the events after huricane Katrina . Third world countries are more concerned after a disaster like that ,all the US government seemed to care about was making sure the blame didn`t come back on them The rest of the world must have been shocked and disgusted . people all over the world were sending aid .if America can afford billions for needless wars why can`t they do more to help their own people instead of leaving them dieing the way they did

I think you may have answered your own question to some extent. You mention money a few times. That may be the only answer you need. Remember that there are many people in the world who think that power is the point of their existance. I agree with what you're saying. Its a scary world we're in currently. The fact that that clown has hands on the reigns of the most powerful country in the world is enough to make one weep. At least I am not directly on the receiving end. He and his cronies are the most frightening types of idiots; the ones that sneek under the radar and manage to get to a position with some sort of influence. There is corruption because there are people who dont see what life should be about.

Don't you know that absolute power corrupts absolutely! and that All politicians are corrupt in one way or another, no matter where they come from or what party they belong too,.

Those who have the power will lie cheat and steal to stay in power, all political parties make promises to change things they often deliberately miss represent their intentions to gain public trust, then once the votes are cast in their favour those very same promises are forgotten, and the politician rides on the gravy train laughing all the way to the bank!. Nice job if could get it huh? I'm afraid that's the nature of politics. it opens a door into a world of greed self importance and fornication of ideals.

The USA was built on the Mafia and gangsters laundering their money and putting it into legitimate business to avoid the new tax laws.of the time.
If you look back into major corporations in the USA in the 20's and 30's they seemed to get their capital from nowhere.
Look at the bank J.P Morgan they got their money from Captain Morgan (English) the pirate after he became Governor of Jamaica.
Today they with their government want to lecture the world on corruption, the UK is no better.

The problem with this question is that so many people don't know about US foreign policy and history.

People don't know about the support of Pinochet, the Iran coup and Shah of Iran's terrorism, the backing of Saddam, the Nicaragua Contra gangs, the Taliban terrorism, the Vietnam abuse, the Indonesia political abuse, the current support for the MEK / MKO terrorists etc. etc.

Things like the use of banned chemical weapons on Iraqi children, the numbers of rapes in Iraq or the systematic torture are reported in most nations, but the US media don't report it.

So US citizens can't be blamed for seeing it differently. Most will read this, give me a thumbs down & think it's untrue. I wish it was, but it's just a fraction of the truth.

Because we have taken God out of it. I mean, we came for religious reasons and we were doing great and now we are a sodom and gomara. Sooner or later america will be destroyed because we do not give glory to God. Remember this when it happens, because it will.
