I know the authority may dwell therein but who made cops the god so that I must do as they say or be shot?

The majority of Americans give those cops the authority. They're not God, but they are given the trust of Americans to uphold the law. Every law that is made is a compromise between the people and the government for the sake of security. Ideally, the government's primary goal is to protect its citizen's rights to life, liberty, and property (the pursuit of happiness). In order to fulfill that function, it makes laws that limit SOME rights in order to fully protect others.

I know that,s right cause I can,t stand authority at all and the reason is that life don,t suppose to be like that. And another that,s what this black ****** right here is saying and that,s how I feel about white man law, or any law anyway. And nothing anybody, anything, any god, or devil can change about.

They are the law enforcers, and, yes, in certain circumstances they have the right to shackle you. They are not God, but they are only trying to protect us all, and when a person is shackled they can do very little damage to others.

You must do as they say for your own protection. It's a part of a system that allows you to enjoy life without the constant fear of being attacked in your own home or what have you. Without a system that enforces laws that are in place to protect us from the insanity of anarchy we're just not really safe and one of the finer qualities of being in a society (aside from leisure time) is that we can FEEL safe.

The police are granted their authority by the government of the region they patrol, whether it be City, County, or State. They are not god, but should you be dumb enough to challenge their authority they can arrange that meeting for you.
When you reject the rules of a society, you are rejecting that society, and as they are the enforcers of society it is their job to remove you from should you reject it.

When you get in a spot where you need a cop he will be there for you,even though you dislike him and he makes little money to protect your worthless behind.We as a society need them or people like you would have the run of our streets.They shackle or cuff those who need to be cuffed for our good or thier own good.
Thats the way it works,I hear Russia is much better though,let us know please!!

well i think its bad when cops can pull others about and we cant back how selfs up with out being shot at or killed out right .....
we all need to get a club together....
help people that are on drugs and drink
