Anyone remember not too long ago when the coalition attacked Iraq and we bombed Baghdad. A stupid phrase by a General talked about the tactics of Shock and Awe.
Its come home to the USA - "Shocking and Awfull" as we get our young men killed - for what?

I heard today that OPEC will raise the price of oil, on account of a weakened US dollar (oil prices are based on the US dollar). And a weak US dollar is indicative of a weak US economy. Since Bush decided to go to war ( no semantics on who funds what, etc...HE and he alone declared war) the economy has gotten worse, and hence oil prices have risen. Can we NOW accept that Bush and his policies directly affect the price of oil? What do you think of my new conspriacy theory?

I thought this was the same as perjury. My astonishment is that these people know that we know they are lying and do it anyway, Is that office that they are holding that desirable that they would do anything to keep it? There must be something adictive or is it some sort of perverted game they are playing? I want to believe that they really whole heartily want to serve their country and also help to world afterward we get ourselves on course, but somtimes i just think there is something "rotten in denmark"maybe i'm just a dumb country redneck but it just dont add up.

from the USA in a few years. I am in college but once I get financially stable and a little more mature I would love to live overseas for a year or who knows maybe the rest of my life. My question is what all would I have to do to legally live there? I heard they won't allow me unless I marry someone over there. I also heard I would need a visa which would take several years to get. I'm confused lol...thank you so much!! Happy Holidays

From time to time we see someone write that this world was made by God for all of us, and that it is your human right to live anywhere in the world you want. So are you saying that no country should have borders, or that just the U S A , can not have borders ? Also if you can tell us a country that has open borders, I can not think of even one.

Would you join the army when you know our country is at war and the chances of getting killed are pretty high? Theres other ways of getting free college, but putting your life on the line for a war thats being mislead is not an option.

America is deadlocked in a battle over her founding principles. Will we give up them up, or remain faithful?

Personally, I'm on the side of preserving our founding principles of SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE and Religious Freedom. So I guess in this area, I am a Liberal. Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and our other founding fathers worked hard to ensure that every citezin would feel welcome in the United States, regardless of religion. The fact that our government was hijacked by Christianity during the second Great Awakening doesn't change that history. Now, however, atheists, Deists, Muslims, and to a lesser degree, Jews, Buddists, Christian minority sects (often called "cults") often feel unwelcome in this country because of their religion (or in the case of Atheists and some Deists, lack of religion). This points to the fact that the Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians are winning.

So, which side are you on?

Hey ya'll. I'm doing a project for this class I'm in about Big Brother societies and I need to focus on an American perspective. How do you feel about increased surveillance? If you can tell me your thoughts, your sex, age, and location, that would be most helpful in order to keep a steady statistical sort of data.

Other things to consider:
Do you feel there has been an increase in surveillance?
If so, how have you seen this manifest itself?
Do you feel safer? Why?
In what ways have you noticed or encountered surveillance in your area?
Any general thoughts are deeply appreciated. Thanks!

ditch or something on my own Then when I did it fast and started working circles around the illegals, I ussually did, they would all start to blame each other for thier poor performance,

Julio, trabajo malo, when the white boy outperformed them ,,they would turn on each other

one thing they would never do was to take advice from me,,to learn since I was white,,,, what a joke,
I only say this becuase ,,,I hate this BS attitude like they never see any white people doing these type of jobs,,,,who do you think taught the illegals the skills,,,Americans,,and mostly white ones

this question is dedicated to Mr, Anti-illegal himself

She owns a Business where they service Vehicles. They do Audio Equipment, Window Tinting, and Interior Work. She decided to have a no Check or Credit policy because she got stiffed too many times. Now she lost a large number of black clients because of this. The only reason she changed the policy was because the majority, according to her reports every month, about 90% of those who stiffed her were black. Now that she changed her policy to no Check or Credit, she lost a great number of black costumers. Now the black community around here are talking bad about her, calling her a racist and what not. Did she do something wrong really?

The way the twin towers were destroyed is reminiscent of a demolition rather than the impact of the planes. Both buildings collapsed straight down rather than topple and fall. Coincidence or strategy? also the hole in the pentagon was only 16 feet across...not the size of an airliner. There were no engines found at the pentagon.....suggestive of a cruise missile strike??
