Why at my high-school job, as a landscaper, the illegals would laugh when I said I was going to dig a drainage

Why should they work hard? If the employer fires them they could sue him/her for racism, even though they shouldn't be there in the first place....

Illegal immigrants are the worst thing for this country. Taking our money, taking our hospitals, taking our schools, and giving nothing back. Thank you for "doing a job that American's don't want". It's good men like you that will keep this country strong.

Well, it's all part of the macho male ego that hispanic men have. They think they are better than everyone else at everything. I find it funny though, because a majority of them can't handle too much pressure, (which isn't a lot) without freaking out and folding over. You have a very good point when you said someone had to teach the illegals the skills they have as construction workers. The foundation of the roads and buildings in this country were built by Americans. Illegals didn't come in till the end, which is only a very small portion of what's been built in the history of this country. I wouldn't worry about it, just your typical macho hispanic male ego. Nothing really worth taking as a threat.

My fiance is an electrician who used to work a lot of new construction. He always complained about the amount of drinking done by the Hispanic laborers while they were on the job. He also complained a lot about their inability to read a level or a square.
They come to this country unable to even speak English- how can you train someone to do something that requires any type of skill if they can't speak your language? Illegals get stuck with manual labor because that is all they are qualified for- that my friend is the bottom line- they are not skilled laborers, they don't speak English and they are very hard to train- so they take the jobs that they are able to do.

The only Spanish my sweeetheart learned I cannot repeat- it is a shame that people come to this country supposedly to work and the employers have to learn a new language just to put them to work.

Everyone can perform their job duties, unless other wise you should of never been hired in the first place. Don't listen to those illegals, because they are not signing your paychecks.
