A useful step in the right direction. However, Israel only listens to the USA and the USA doesn't listen to France.

Actually what Israel does to the Palestinians is much more than mere "provocation". It is outright "aggression" against an indigenous people. The words murderers, dispossessors, and war criminals come to mind when describing Israel's barbaric treatment of the Palestinians. The government of the United States shares equal guilt with Israel for perpetuating the injustice against Palestinians. Now the Jews are hollering and screaming that Jimmy Carter is an "anti-semite" because Mr. Carter has spoken out against Israel in his new book. Your candidate for president is quite correct. Viva la France!

The only way for Israel to cease being 'provocative' in Arab (and apparently French) eyes would be for every Jew in the middle east to be killed.

she not exactly stating anything that most people couldn't work out for themselves. like most politicians she is just saying what sounds popular. i'm not sure how she will carry this out if she gets elected. people have been trying to do this for 50 years with no success.

a little more forgiveness on either side wouldn't go amiss and may even win a peace

The Palestinians need to stop firing rockets into Israel too.
When it all comes down to it everywhere, the normal, everyday people want all the B.S. to stop. It's the fringe that keeps the fires stoked.
Maybe when all "everyday people" get together and stick together, we can say "STOP" and find solutions.
We all just want to live our lives.
