Ignorance. No, there shouldn't be a lot of "Black on Black" or any other kind of crime. As with all races, maybe, if we're REALLY lucky, all of the stupid ones will kill each other off, leaving only the smart people. It's the process of natural selection at its finest.

I don't think color has anything to do with it. They are attaching people within their own community, which is actually true of most violent crimes. Violent crimes are against people you know, rarely strangers.
Oaklands trouble is crack, not color, they just happen to be black crack heads. Crime is increasing in all areas which have a serious drug problem, black white or otherwise.

Same reason as white on white crime. Usually, the criminal & the victim know each other. Sometimes very well.
