Simply because a federal law says immigrants who sneak into the country are illegals, does that mean a city or a state has the right to turn them away??
How can they do this to decent people who are just not US citizens? Do they know how hard and dangerous it is to work in Mexico? What if some illegals have already bought a house there? (You do not need to be a US citizen to own a house). Can other cities do this too? How do we know if our city is thinking about it?
Anyway, how can a Texas city do this, since Texas is a hispanic majority state??

I'm a moderate, far from liberal leaning, yet I chuckle everytime I read comments from conservatives who bash anyone who disagrees with their point of view by calling them liberals. Are we still living in the former Pres. George H.W. Bush era when he referred to liberals as the "L" word alluding that liberal was too filthy of a word to mention in public.

About every other month or so we have about two or three Jehovah's Witnesses come up to the house and ring the doorbell.
Even when you politely tell them you aren't interested,
sometimes they'll stick around for thirty minutes or more. Well this morning, I figure they have went too far.
Today, as I was getting ready for work, they drove up in the yard, walked up to the house, rang the doorbell and knocked on the door. I walked outside, politely told them I was busy, wasn't interested and was getting ready for work. I finally .went back inside and shut the door.
After I had told them this, they stood in my yard near their car for at least 15 more minutes, came up to the door and rung the bell again. I didn't answer it, so they walked all around the house peeping through the windows. I have never seen anything like it! These people are right up there with telemarketers! Next time, should I call the police? Will they do anything since they belong to a religious orginization?

I want to be an engineer or EOD. I want to know, when you join the Air Force, what are the odds of getting the job you asked for? Someone my friend knows signed up for some psycology job and they said they had no job openings and pushed him into infantry. Where can you go to check out the job outlook for a career in military?

Why is it that whenever muslims kill thousands of civilians, and promote open warfare, kidnapping, torture, and murder, people still claim that Islam is a religion of peace. Mohammed told his followers to "Go out and convert, and if they wont convert, kill them" or "Go and kill them while they sleep". Mohammed also had a 6 year old bride, whom he slept with. Heres a comparison, Jesus cleaned his disciples feet to show servatiude. Mohammed cleaned the blood off of his friends sword. Christianity is spread through willful conversion, Islam: by the sword. If a derogetory cartoon of Jesus is released nothing happens. If mohammed isnt called Allah's holy prophet, Muslims kill innocent people and attack embassies. You cant criticize muslims, but they can say we are wrong? They also view other religions as infidels, and Mohammed told muslims to decieve other religions when they are the minority. This is why they pretend to be peaceful.

She's a sargeant I work with, much higher rank than me (E-4), her (E-6), well she likes me. I call her and she wants to wait until I officially get out so we want get in trouble for fraternization and messing with a lower enlisted. I'll be out completely in 2 weeks. I'm clearing now. Imagine that, she gave me orders at work, now I'm going to be giving her orders in the bedroom soon. Hahaha!

I saw someone say that Mexico should pay for their medical expenses, but I think if illegals can prove they work at some business, then the corporation should assume all responsibility for their families medical expenses.
It would be a greater deterant than a fine.

I want to be a Naval Intelligence Officer. I am in great shape, I am a graduate student, I specialize in Foreign Relations and Languages, etc...., I have a clean record, but I can't pass a flight aptitude test. I know that I don't have the aptitude to be a pilot, nor do I want to be. Why aren't military tests set up better? I believe that they could get more quality people if they looked at the person, and not some old standardized test that has nothing to do with the future job.

Hi i am 18 going on 19 and in college as a full time student and i work during the summer parents wont let me work during school.Problem is last year when my dad would not let me get my own credit card and i used his SSN to get one anyway.I bought a number of bags i wanted from prada exc. , car payment happened because i borrowed my dads car while he was on vacation and got into a car accident and did not want to tell him, clothing/shoes/jewlery,and tickets to my car.I paid of most off this but am still 1400 dollars in debt!My grandfather pays my car insurance and wont lend me the money should i go to my dad?

I hear allot of people calling "beheaders" savages. But what about the American Christian tradition of scalping native Americans?, And then even considering the scalps as a form of currency?

At least the Muslim beheaders throw the heads away after and don't make trade with them.
