Should talk toa recruiter. But I am debating back, and forth on this descion. But right now in my life I sort of hit a brick wall in reaching my goal at college. I am doing great in everything except for one subject, Math. An it has effected me from not getting any financial aid for my next semester. I am already two years in to college. My goal was to major in Law Enforcement in college, and to complete college. But that has sort of took a halt. I was curious about the military helping towards reaching my goal. Maybe it can get be some experience in law enforcement, and life. Also while playing a part in helping out my country. But I am debating back, and forth if it is a good choice, or not. I mean there are a lot of questions going through my mind. Can the military help with me getting experience for working in law enforcement? How long will I be away from home? Is it the right choice? Can it help me towards getting college credits, or tutions? Any input would be great. Thanks.

Generally speaking Con's say, "no abortions of any kind". What do you do with those who you "saved" into this life that do not have any quality of life? You also don't like aid to those in need saying " make it on your own". What happened to the sympathy for life after the birth certificate?

Saddam is no worse than any of the Dictators that exist today.. Therefore there MUST have been another reason for the upheavel to the Iraqi way of life.
Like good Christians we should apologize and admit our mistakes and get the hell out of their country. Right?

would you have a problem with that? Personally, I would stand on my head (or rap) if that would get rid of a $500 ticket. Or do you think they should have just been issued the citation and given no chance?

My son was accused of sexual harassment by an unnamed female student at his high school basically for hugging. He hugs friends both male and female at school, as do many other students. This one girl and two of her friends (also unnamed) took exception to his hugging and decided to turn him into the authorities rather than simply tell him to stop.

The school suspended him for 3 days and assigned him to a DAEP (disciplinary alternative education program) for the rest of the semester. He will not be allowed to return to his high school next semester. He will also lose credit for the entire semester in his Pre-AP English, Algebra, and Chemistry classes as well as in his electives, as these classes are not offered at the DAEP.

We appealed the decision, arguing (with plenty of Supreme Court cases and educational code citings) that his due process rights have been violated. But not knowing the identity of his accusers, there was no way to mount a defense. Is there any way to fight this?

It is frequently used metaphorically by non-military persons to describe military campaigns characterized by small hope of victory, ( Like the Iraq war ) poorly-defined objectives and/or no clear exit strategy.

Why Annan is not taking real actions but only complaining? If UN cannot stop the war from happening, nor can it help fix it, why it needs to exist?

UN peace force should replace the American troops in Iraq. This will give Iraqis more confidence that the entire world is trying to help them out, not just US, who may have an obvious hidden agenda.

If the world agrees with US that Saddam should be ousted, then every country should pitch in; if they don't agree, they need to oust US and take over the reestablishment.

The damage created by US has determined that it will never win respect in middle East, there will only be hatred in the next centry.

So the best strategy is to hand it over - this is what the study group should advise our clueless president.

They typical liberal response to a question tends to be thoughful and insightful. It often elaborates on the point presenting the issue in detail.

In contrast the typical conservative response tends to just be one line or an insult. It is usually filled with anger and hate. Where are all of the thoughtful conservatives?

Lying about the Rationale for the Iraq War
Bush and his team deliberately misled Congress and the American public about the rationale for invading Iraq. Bush convinced a majority of Americans that Iraq was involved with Al-Qaeda and responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Yet the evidence shows that Iraq was not involved. Bush said in his State of the Union Address that "that "The British Government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa" to build nuclear weapons. But he had already been told by the CIA that the evidence was forged. Bush claimed to have hard evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. But the UN investigators could not verify any of these claims and searches of Iraq revealed no such weapons. The real reason we invaded Iraq may have more to do with the fact that Iraq has the second largest oil reserves in the world, and sits strategically in the center of the Middle East

Will the Bush camp slowly unravel as a result of the Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine,Syria, Iran problems?

From staff and wire reports
WASHINGTON — Unable to win Senate confirmation, United Nations Ambassador John Bolton will step down when his recess appointment expires, the White House announced this morning.
"It is with deep regret that I accept John Bolton's decision to end his service in the administration as Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations when his commission expires," President Bush said this morning in a statement.
Bush gave Bolton the job temporarily in August 2005, while Congress was in recess. That appointment will expire when Congress adjourns, no later than January.

Bolton's nomination has languished in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee for more than a year, blocked by Democrats and several Republicans. The White House resubmitted Bolton's nomination in mid-November.
