I think they should pay every cent and the manager should also be sent to jail.

She was the girl who was stripped naked, forced to be cavity searched, perform oral sex, do jumping jacks, etc... because someone on the phone said they were the police and told the manager to do this to the girl.

As it turned out, it was a crank caller.

I grew up hearing cops talk (and sometimes laugh) about planting evidence or lying under oath in court. A couple of times, waiting for my mom to get off work. Hearing judges and prosecutors rehearsing a witness. The judge saying "no, you can't say that like that in my court room. You have to say..."

An MP who wanted to get a guy shipped back to CONUS so he could sleep with the guys wife, showed me how he manipulated the results of a breathalyzer test to get the guy busted for DWI.

I didn't realize the implications of what I was being asked to do at the time. But the MI unit my wife was assigned to asked me to perform tasks that resulted in a civilian having in their possession something that would suggest they were guilty of a crime.

The governor of the state of illinois felt the judicial system so flawed. He commuted the entire death row to life sentences.

Google Frank Lee Smith and read that. I don't think I could convict anyone. I wouldn't believe the evidence.

Yes he was rude.
Yes he was not funny.
Yes he used bad words.

He was heckled by the black men and responded in a bad way. He has said he is sorry over 1000 times everywhere you look.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. Didn't the men in the audience have parents who taught them that?
They are also talking about a lawsuit. Is that fair?

I HELLBENT say enough already.

If Im caught stealing a CD from the store, odds are I will recieve a minimal fine or even simply pay for the CD. Internet piracy carries a penalty of thousands of dollars per song downloaded, which is obviously more signifigant than stealing a hard copy.

Why the huge difference in penalties?
