redeployment can mean that the troops are just being sent to different areas as opposed to withdrawal which is leaving all together

redeployment might mean moving the troops to a different place(s) in iraq. withdrawl would mean taking them totally out.
somewhere in between they could be close by in another country.

You tell me. I wasn't in favor of sending our troops to Iraq. To me our President never made a strong enough case for invasion from the get-go. Keeping up with the national news would help you understand the difference. You would know what our leaders have been discussing concerning your question. Peace
