i support the troops, but not Bush because he makes all the wrong decisions.

I support the troops and The Commander in Chief of those troops. Has bush handled everything in regards to this war right well no but no president in war time has ever been perfect.

NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!!!!!! PLEASE THINK OF A WORLD WHERE EVERYTHING COMES UP ROSES AND NOBODY EVER GETS HURT...WELL THIS ISN'T IT. I AM A VIETNAM COMBAT MARINE VET AND I CAN TELL YOU FOR SURE THAT WALKING AWAY WILL NOT MAKE PEACE HAPPEN. AFTER WE LEFT SOUTHEAST ASIA MORE THEN 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE LOST THERE LIFE IN THE PURGES, REEDUCATION CAMPS, AND WHOLESALE SLAUGHTER IN THE CITIES AND COUNTRYSIDE. AND YA KNOW WHAT? NEVER SAW A LOCAL AND NATIONAL PROTEST THE ENTIRE TIME IT WAS HAPPENING. I HATE TO SAY IT BUT OUR PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE THE STOMACH FOR A PROTRACTED CONFLICT. HAVEN'T HAD SINCE NAM AND MOST PROBABLY NEVER WILL HAVE. BECAUSE I CAN PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT IF ONE SIDE WILL FIGHT AS LONG AS IT TAKES TO WIN AND THE OTHER DOES NOT HAVE THAT RESOLVE, GUESS WHO WINS. THE WORLD HAS SEEN THAT FROM THE U.S. FOR A LONG TIME AND THEY KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO PLAY US. DRAG IT OUT LONG ENOUGH AND WE WILL LOSE EVERY WAR....PERIOD.
OF COURSE WHEN THE TIME COMES WHERE 50,000 PEOPLE DIE AT A WHACK BY SOME NUT CASE FROM ISLAM IT WILL BE TOO LATE. IT WILL BE TOO LATE TO SEND YOUR SONS OR DAUGHTERS TO FIGHT BATTLES THAT WILL DETERMINE HOW YOUR KIDS LIVE THEIR LIVES FOR THE NEXT FEW HUNDRED YEARS. DON'T THINK SO?? CAN WE AFFORD TO BE WRONG ABOUT THIS? IT WILL BE TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR MIND ONCE THE KILLING GETS GOING IN THIS COUNTRY. GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEAD. THE ENEMY DOESN'T MIND KILLING INNOCENT MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN. THEY HAVE PROVEN THAT DAILY. CASE CLOSED.

The president is a person. Hence, you have the choice of whether or not to like. Whether or not you approve of his actions in office, and his political standpoint, again, he is a human being, and has his own opinions to run "his" country. His word is law.
However, the armed forces, is a national figure. Without the arm forces you wouldn't have english papers to write, not saying that isn't a good thing, but you know what i mean. The armed forces, are men and women who come together for three reasons. Serve protect and defend. Without them, and without your support, the country would be dead on its feet.

I always support the President of The United States of America,Americans voted him in so therefore I will support him, in this case I support the President I voted for twice.

Support the troops but that does not mean I support them being there.
I don't support the pres other than the minimal amount given he is our president. I don't support his policies,performance or way of governing.
